Awesome, I'm glad B99 was saved since it's great... add it to that list lol.
That's a bit of a different situation since it would have only had a produced pilot. There's a lot of examples of that. Networks passing on pilots and then others picking them up to series.

NBC/Universal produces B99. It's the same reason Last Man Standing got picked up by Fox.
People want to own the shows they produce. Which is hilarious since Fox is being bought by fucking Disney.

I mean, that model is probably dying now (which is why people like Sony Pictures TV should be at least a little bit scared), but I can understand the general idea of "we developed this for our network, and it's good, but it really doesn't fit with anything so let's see if someone else wants it".
I believe they ordered 13 episodes, so it could go that way or they are testing the waters. If people actually tune in they may order more.
Time to spam twitter and tell Fox to get their shit together and renew Gotham over Lethal Weapon...

The B99 news today reminded me of Community after NBC canceled it. Everyone was pinning their hopes on Hulu and then the news broke that Hulu passed and everyone thought it was over. But then Yahoo picked it up a day later. I think Hulu passes on both shows because the production companies already had offers on the table that they couldn't beat.
I'm going to watch this show.
And when I do, I'll make a thread to follow my journey. And it will be based around this GIF.
