Ironically I just ordered seasons one and two on Blu-Ray just a few hours ago. A blind buy for me. :P
Maybe we should start one of those campaigns to save the show. Send lemons to ABC.

Why do people have to "work" on a whether a show is getting canceled or not? Like negotiations?
In many cases the company that makes the show and the company that airs the show are not the same, so they negotiate on whether or not to bring it back. In the case of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. it's slightly more complicated since the companies that own it and air it are the same, but there's a wrinkle in the form of Marvel/Disney wanting the show on the air regardless of its ratings while ABC wants it gone. So different factions within Disney are debating the show's future.
If it wasn't for the extremely loyal fanbase it would've been cancelled with the other ABC shows last week.
Wait, the Disney Streaming Service won't be online until late 2019? Why so late? By that time I'll probably slip back into my old just-pirate-everything habit, especially if Shield is no longer a go on ABC or Hulu.
They're launching it with a live action Star Wars TV series, a Marvel series, and multiple exclusive live-action Disney movies (like the live action Lady and the Tramp). That stuff takes time.
Regardless of all that possible new stuff; they have a huge backlog of programing right now with new "original" programing on Hulu and OTA. I was expecting early 2019. :/
From a marketing standpoint, it's better to launch with a bang using a ton of original content rather than a whimper and hope people join up 10 months later when original content starts releasing.
Comicbook.com going all in on the speculation. Wouldn't shock me though.

They mostly all are these days, even the ones you hoped would be above it. Competitive market though so they mostly resort to the same dirty tactics. It's when they disable comments (a la Screenrant) that you know even the people writing for them know it.

Sites like ScreenRant and CBR and ComicBook.com exist for the sole purpose of clickbait. Dishonest headlines, top 15 lists stretched throughout 20 pages, etc.
Hollywood Reporter, Variety, Deadline, etc. still are legitimate, for the most part.

No it wasn't. I couldn't even finish season two and I've watched some dire television in my life.

Been meaning to jump back into it. Kinda lost me after the first episode when it felt like it wasn't continuing straight off from the first season and had this whole other plot.
It's been awhile, but I recall really liking the 2nd season's antagonist.

You couldn't finish anything never mean shit in the old site, why should it here.No it wasn't. I couldn't even finish season two and I've watched some dire television in my life.
I hope next week's finale at least has a satisfying, conclusive ending, since it seems like the show is dead.
