Why is this season taking so long to come out? I swear we heard about this season since like 2016.

Cause they're using it to launch a platform and can't just put it out there by itself as soon as it's done. The other shows also have to be completed or near completion so there's something in the pipeline to keep people subbed to the service.

We heard about it when Netflix was considering picking it up with a lot of their expansion at that time.
DC saw the renewed support and pinned it as a staple when creating their service which was about a year later figuring it would have a dedicated base to start with.

I'm kinda surprised that Young Justice doesn't get the same animation complaints as the rest of the DC animated gets lol

Young Justice is a tv series though, it's a blessing that they have more detailed character designs at all. How many western animated series have that?

I mean they are fucking with the rule of 3 as is
Have you noticed that DC animated stuff sidesteps this by rarely having all three on screen at the same time?
You'll have the one main black character that gets the most screen time and then the peripherals will pop up here and there for short periods of time.
I suspect this will be no different. Static will be the "main" black person and every other black character will have limited screen/story time.

The side characters will only pop up to say "ah hell naw" or "that shit is wack"

Damn, this is the first time I'm hearing about this DC streaming service. What else will they offer? other DC shows? DC movies?

Also, do you guys think that Netflix will still pick up YJ if DC drops their service?

Doom Patrol - live action
Swamp Thing - live action
Young Justice - animated
Harley Quinn - animated

backlog of animation, tv series, movies, etc.
collectables(somehow, idk.)

Sources have said comics as well.

And a live action Louis and Lex show from the producers of Gotham called Metropolis.

If I had to wager, I'd imagine it's because really the show that started the style of animation. Like most of the pre-DC movies were a bit more flexible in design and animation.

Then think YJ artist became lead artists for the New 52 movies and have kind of kept that style now.

Not to mention the movies just generally have a lower budget especially the R-rated ones but with so many they blur together for most.

I actually don't have and issue with it but when I posted that Apocalypse scene in the Thanos thread,
I was surprised how much higher quality it looked as besides Killing Joke I never actually noticed the quality slip.

Is that confirmed to be their idea? Because then it becomes a much better valued Marvel Unlimited (thanks to the TV and film stuff) which would be dope

Someone on here got to look at it, it's apparently a tiered service. So there's that.

When I first heard about the app like 2 years ago, it seemed like the idea was to do Marvel Unlimited with their back catalog of TV shows and movies.
Plans may change, but no signs have pointed to that.
