I think you can probably blame DC/NBC for that never happening.

Yeah, I got the feeling that Damage Control wouldn't have gone anywhere regardless, but Powerless getting greenlit with a very similar premise was probably the final nail in the coffin. (funnily enough, the iteration of Powerless that actually made it to air wasn't quite as similar to Damage Control as the one that was originally ordered, but it still would have been close enough to invite comparisons)

Bill Paxton tho

This show had Bill Paxton and Powers Boothe as villains. Remember that.

Let us not forget our patron saint of guest stars:

I'm happy they did CGI Hive, if anything, they did too little of that in Season 3 but I know what you mean, that Ward!

A friend of mine online has just finished up the GR arc on S4 and is moving into the LMD arc and I am fantastically jealous they are getting to see this for the first time.

I need the "post credits" scene for the final episode of the show to be an ad featuring Ward. Imagine that.

I know they went with the 70s theme and had Patrick Warburton be the hologram inside the base, but it would have been hilarious if Ward had been the recordings and they had to take his advice.

I am troubled by the fact that ABC's upfront presentation begins at the exact moment I start a job tomorrow afternoon. Like, what the heck, even? When my boss asks me to whip out two forms of ID, can I also "accidentally" pull out my phone and "accidentally" check to see if the only network television show I watch will still be in my life in 2019? Yes/no?

Shortened season as a confirmed finale for the series would be the best case scenario. Fingers crossed it's true!

EDIT: Oh, cool lol

Everything is 13 episodes these days, which I'm kinda fine with. Maybe they can get a 22-episode budget and really go nuts with 13 eps.
