Looking at Fox's fall lineup, only shows I will be watching are The Gifted and Bob's Burgers maybe, will check out Rel as well. He was really funny on The Carmichael Show.
The FOX & FX Upfront is next in about 2 hours.
After that there's nothing until the ABC & Freeform Upfront tomorrow morning.
20 bucks it'll never make it to the scr-
Oh, this actually has a chance of coming out.
Tomorrow at 4pm ET.After that there's nothing until the ABC & Freeform Upfront tomorrow morning.
At this point, just watch The Gifted. The hell? I may have to choose between the Flash and The Gifted on Tuesdays.
Yeah i dont think most people realize the books are more vignettes in a life spanning a few hundred years. That probably scares the shit out of execs which is why the producers seemed to have made a S2 more viewer friendly by extending a few storyline threads out directly from the end of the showIf Altered Carbon wasn't going to be renewed then I expect we would have heard by now.
I suspect the delay is that they are still figuring out what the renewal looks like- do they take the book approach and do a new Kovacs and story or do they try to sign Kinneman back up and pick up with the rest of the S1 cast? What does the budget and filming schedule look like, etc.
I watch both and The Gifted was way better than this season of The Flash. The Gifted wasn't anything more than average. At this point, just watch The Gifted.
I've never seen that show, but it can't be as frustrating as The Flash.
Oh okay I accidentally read Univision at 11 AM as ABC & Freeform because it was right above ABC.

Uh, unless you have a Neilsen box or are a Nielsen family, none of what you're watching live affects ratings.I watch other shows during the commercials. I save watching it live for shows that need the ratings. Normally, that isn't a problem when coupling an hour and half hour show like I do with The Middle/Flash.
I mean, I get *why* lists like this exist, and why TV networks do what they do, but even just the idea of scheduled TV is so foreign to me these days that I forgot that millions of people still actually watch TV when they're live on the air.
Agents of SHIELD renewed for a shortened 6th season? Consider this a rumor for now...

It's important to me because my PVR only records 2 things at the same time so anything more needs to be scheduled from the west coast feed instead.I mean, I get *why* lists like this exist, and why TV networks do what they do, but even just the idea of scheduled TV is so foreign to me these days that I forgot that millions of people still actually watch TV when they're live on the air.
TV for me has been "pick that thing up off the DVR when it shows up" for so long that I don't even know what time most shows I watch come on. At most I remember the day.
Confirmed: 'Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.' Renewed For Season 6 By ABCAgents of SHIELD renewed for a shortened 6th season? Consider this a rumor for now...

The network has handed out an abbreviated 13-episode sixth season renewal to Marvel's Clark Gregg drama to Agents of SHIELD. The series, which marked Marvel Television's first live-action scripted drama before the comic book powerhouse spread its wings to cable and streaming, had run 22 episodes a season for its first five runs and is nearing its endgame. A decision about a potential final season has not yet been determined for the perpetual bubble drama.
Honestly, ever since I got IPTV, it's been so nice not worrying about DVR limits or scheduling lolIt's important to me because my PVR only records 2 things at the same time so anything more needs to be scheduled from the west coast feed instead.
They didn't say final season for SHIELD.Fuck yes, these days been awesome!!!
We getting a shortened 13-Episode final season for both Gotham and Agents of Shield!!!
Nope, noticed that just now.
Shortened season is normally a huge sign that they're planning on cancelling it though even if they don't explicitly say that.
I definitely agree but what I mean is that if a 22-23 episode show gets renewed with its episodes cut in half, the network likely isn't happy with the show anymore and just wants to give it a proper sendoff.22 eps just really seem to drag out shows nowadays. Well, 13 does give them a finale to work with, then.
Every episode of this season of Shield rated lower than any Agent Carter episode.
Friday and all, but even on Tuesday the year before it was about the same. Pity. I liked Agent Carter.
I swear Disney has something to do with SHIELD getting renewed, ABC put SHIELD this season on the least watched night (Friday) where shows get sent to die, they really don't like this show but it keeps getting renewed.I liked it too. Season 2 was kind of a mess, but I think Agent Carter could've gone two more seasons and been fine. I wanted to see Peggy and Dottie forced to team up.

New Warriors will be Freeform, Disneyflix (or whatever they decide to call it) or Hulu is my prediction. Runaways was pretty popular on Hulu and depending on Cloak & Dagger ratings I could see it on Freeform. Now we need ABC to announce New Warriors for the fall with Shield replacing it in 2019.

Freeform already said they don't want it.New Warriors will be Freeform, Disneyflix (or whatever they decide to call it) or Hulu is my prediction. Runaways was pretty popular on Hulu and depending on Cloak & Dagger ratings I could see it on Freeform.
Meanwhile, every single Marvel ABC show has had awfully abysmal ratings.
Disney can only save it so many times. Friday? 13 episodes? There's no more concessions to be made.
