I stopped at Best Buy on the way home to pick up the 4k, but they were all sold out... I've never seen that in my life, haha. They had 3 display kiosks set up for BP and new releases, all that was left was regular Blu-Ray and Steelbook Blu-Ray. However, at the 3rd kiosk they had 5 4K Steelbooks left, so I just got one of those. I even asked if they had any more in the back and the guy checked and said no.

I'll be seeing Deadpool 2 in a couple of hours. Can't say I'm that excited actually, IW just took the wind out of its sails completely I guess.

I will say I probably enjoyed Deadpool 2 even more. The second act is slow which is unfortunate, but everything else was nice. From the jokes, action, set pieces, how they depict Domino, Cable was great, and to my surprise, there was more than a handful of MCU references too. It also had the best post-credits scenes I've seen in a comic book movie to date. Intro was incredible, it had great use of licensed and original music, and it was all really well executed. But the thing is, we've had 3 incredible superhero movies this year so far with Black Panther, Infinity War and Deadpool 2.

Yeah I'm not really worried about the quality. Just feel weird to not be reading to the cinema all hyped up like I usually amand was for the first one). But you might be right, maybe it's just the amount of quality cinema these last couple of months.

I am seeing stuff about Quicksilver being spotted on set. Are they still filming Avengers 4? I thought they had filmed it back to back. I would love to see him again especially in the Russo's hands. I liked QS and his death is probably one of the reasons I don't like AoU as much as some other MCU films. Just felt like a waste when he introduction was a new power added to the universe.

You know what you don't see? Any pictures. That said, as far as we heard they wrapped up filming a while ago. They have reshoots later this year though, I think?

Manabyte said he was getting harassed by that guy for scooping the Eternals news, so I go to check out his twitter feed and that's what I saw.

I can't call it. He's Zatt's evil twin or some shit.

Let's, for a minute, forget what will most likely happen.

Would you all want Marvel to follow through 100% on every death in IW?
Would you turn to alternate dimensions or legacy heroes when it comes to upcoming sequels?

Curious how you would want it to be handled if the deaths were permanent. And what's the most realistic option, if they were to follow through on those deaths.

The ramblings of a madman.

Holy shit, he's unhinged.

Yea he came at me unprovoked. Didn't follow me or anything and out of nowhere said I was lying about The Eternals and demanding me to give him proof. I pointed out how The Wrap (with KEVIN FEIGE) confirmed it was happening, and THR yesterday revealed who was writing it. He tried to use some 1994 Black Panther script as proof that it wasn't going to happen. He then yelled at me that I was fake and blocked me.

Is Redbox not getting Black Panther?

It isn't listed anywhere on their site. Not as a New Release nor as an Upcoming Release

Disney is in the middle of suing them over digital copy codes. Redbox takes them from the discs they buy and resell the codes, Disney is suing them over that.

I would take this with a grain of salt, but a reddit user by the name "/u/defenders_throwaway" mentions that Bullseye will be a villain of Daredevil S3, and that he'll have an entire episode focused on him. MCU Exchange went through the user's history and noticed how accurate his past leaks for Defenders were. He were also right when it came to a few other things on The Punisher and Jessica Jones S2.

currently working on the first episodes of DD3. It starts really slow and introduces too many new characters. the plot could go either way, hard to say at this point. But they do a whole episode about Bullseye's background and I think its cinematically the best episode out of all of Marvel shows so far. Kingpin gets all the files and tapes about Bullseye and he "walks" through bullseyes memories to look at his life. it is fantastic

DD3 is a bit slow and convoluted. It really picks up the pace in the middle and I think the end of the season might turn out great. Bullseye is legit scary. Nobody wears their costume from the comics. DD is more of the same, but again, anything involving Bullseye is a standout. They really nail the fact that he's deadly from afar.

He can't speak to any deaths but mentions that they are setting up a big fight in a church.

We also got new set photos yesterday showing Matt Murdock in his old black suit:

I'm extremely hyped for next season. Everything just sounds great, from it being based on "Born Again," to Wilson Fisk playing a major part, to Bullseye eventually being a part of it, and him donning the old black suit. And his mother being teased at the end of Defenders. Here's hoping we'll get a killer season.

I got to admit I've been absolutely loving the slow pace they've sent us through in all the Netflix shows, and the black suit was hella cool, but I can definitely see why others would be bored by it. This will fill the void left by no movies for me.

Ah damn just realized something. That Iron Fist S2 have already wrapped filming, and they are still filming Daredevil S3. So we'll probably get Iron Fist next, bummer. Oh well, at least I'm curious if they can save anything on that show. Hopefully the writing for Danny has improved, and not only the fight choreography.

Talking about Iron Fist S2, again take it with a grain of salt, but according to cbr.com a now deleted reddit post claims the second season will be shorter and only contain 10 episodes.

Iron Fist is top notch. Shorter season. Better pacing. better everything, really. they rely on a very tired trope for one of the main plot points, but it works somehow. misty and colleen steal the show. only a part of the costume [will be included] and only as sort of an easter egg.

IF choreography has improved a lot. Danny looks competent now and has cool moments. But the stand out scenes in IF are the ones that involve Colleen.

Im fine with no costume, but I would love it if he got to wear the one he were donning at the end of Defenders. When it comes to the "tired trope" I think its about The Hand. Just writing out "The Hand" makes me scuff.

Pretty much. Jessica Jones S2 proved I'll still watch them (and mostly enjoy them), but I'm not overly excited for em anymore.
I'm where you are. I'll watch them but I don't actually look forward to them. I also don't binge anything anymore, except Cobra Kai because that was awesome.

Maybe we should do like at the old place and make a thread for the Marvel TV shows, so that people who are in on the MCU but not interested in the tv shows doesn't have to read about tv shows being discussed in here? Dunno, I'm fine with either way.

I'd be okay with this but it's because I've lost all interest in Marvel TV. I don't care too much though. Here or another thread, whatevs.

Ryan Reynolds is the god of marketing and hyping up a film. No one comes close.

I hope they keep letting him do that shit when he joins the MCU.
