- Absolutely, it is a must. You can get the game directly from Mangagamer or Steam.

- Yes you can and since there isn't a proper OT for it I recommend it, spoiler tags will still be needed for first game.

STORY

Game Synopsis

A young girl, whose blood is claimed to have miraculous healing powers, kneels battered and beaten before the lord of the land. In the village where she was born, she was worshiped as the daughter of God. And now, the lord holds his sword high in the air, moments away from beheading her.

"You're a damned witch wearing a saint's skin!"

But before he can swing his blade down, a young man interferes, saving the girl.

So begins the first "happy" chapter of the young girl's life. And so begins the first act of a tragedy that would come to span nearly a millennium.

shame it took so long

2 years is just way too long for me to still care about a side thing no matter how much I liked what it was based on

guess it'll be there if I ever replay the main game at some point in the distant future at least


good time for anyone that's never played the main game to get into it,I really do think it's the best VN i've played and that includes quite a few good ones

I'm pretty excited. Hearing this one is a lot shorter, and I'm actually cool with it, since it isn't consisting of a lot of different stories like the first game. Either way, it's been a long time since I played the first, so who knows, maybe I'll go back and continue a new play through. Probably after playing Requiem for Innocence though.

I feel like I've barely played any newly released games this year (...even if this *is* a localisation of an older one), so it will be nice to have something I can point to besides Celeste.
And more Fata Morgana music is always a good thing!

I "beat" the first game but then found out I was missing a crap ton of stuff... how should I go into this game? I really enjoyed the first one and it was my first VN experience.

Yeah, I think this is where I'm at too. I'd love to replay it first, but I'm drowning under a VN (and games in general) backlog as is given the pace they're being released at currently.

So I'll hope I remember enough when I play this in the next couple days, then replay both that way.

Ah, I can't believe the second part will be out in few more hours. The House in Fata Morgana is one of the best gaming experiences I had last year.

The first game blew me away with all my expectations. It is truly worth it at 0% off. I hope the fan disc would be too.

Oh that's nice, I didn't think it would be this early on the 18th. Usually it's always PT or some far off time (I'm in Eastern Europe) so this earlier timing is nice for a change. I don't think I will have time to play it tonight though, unless I stay up late...

Played about 46 minutes so far. I'm liking it! The funny thing with these games is that I'm always like "I need to quit, but just a little bit longer..." and I end up playing way longer than I should.

Tomorrow I'm gonna dive in a bit more.

Finished Act 1 and the Interlude, spoilers for both.
Ceren was an... interesting addition. Honestly I'm surprised she was offed as early as she was, so I'll be interested to see where the story goes from here. The development she received in the Interlude was nice, although Barnier was definitely the star of the show weirdly, he felt very human for such an inhuman character.
In lighter thoughts, shout out to the flower scene (IT'S MINE), and Maria of all people actually being aromantic. That was cool.

EDIT:To avoid a double post, putting it here, but I've now finished the main game. Damn. I haven't even read the side stories yet, but this was totally worth the wait.
The final scene before the credits gave me legit chills. Although the scene after linked in nicely to the original game, that will probably stay in my head as the actual "ending", because it was amazing.

Sorry if it is the wrong place to ask, but is the first game only available in steam (and android)?, are there any plans to bring it to consoles or ios?
I've been interested in the game for a long time, but I was holding off for a console port or an ipad version?

If there's not, I guess I'll get it from steam since it's 50% off and try it in the steam link app next week

There are rumors that the game will see a console release sometime in the future. For now, it's only available on PC (Steam or Mangagamer) and Android (Mangagamer).

Limited Run Games said that they're announcing their first localization project during E3. There's still hope, judging from the amount of teasing and hints that have been shared for the past few months.

thanks guys, I think I'll get it on steam since it's pretty cheap right now and wouldn't mind double dipping in case of a console release.
