Going to a show tonight at a venue I rarely go to, and then working a short shift tomorrow, and just hanging out with boo :) Should be a relaxing weekend compared to the hecticness of last weekend.

I got an extra day off due to Veterans Day so this has already been a nice weekend for me. I got to spend most of Friday with my niece and nephew, the latter being just shy of eight months old and friggin' adorable. My niece loves to beg me to play Mario Kart with her, then complain until I'm forced to turn it off (win, lose, doesn't matter lol).
The next two days will be largely spent indoors due to the weather, so I hope to finish up Mario and put more time into Destiny 2 and Assassin's Creed Origins (both on PC).

Doing work for college today until the evening to finish assignments for this week and next, and then I'm going to see Call Me By Your Name with a friend of mine in the evening and maybe we'll head out for drinks after; and then tomorrow, I'm going shopping to try and buy a wool coat (have an interview Wednesday and a date next Sunday and it dawned on me I don't actually have a 'smart' coat to wear that'll do for either), but I'm kind of hesitant as I can foresee it being a bit of an ordeal to get something in my size.

I was supposed to have friends come around to watch Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2 but they've bailed. So now I will go full geek and sit on my own in my living room with my 3D glasses on and watch it.

I'm watching Netflix shows and playing some Metroid Samus Returns. Such a good game with some boring boss design unfortunately, but the game is fun and exploring there is actually cool. Wish it had more story elements though.

I'm having a laid-back week-end. Currently drinking red wine while working on an article and on the tracklist and transitions of the DJ set I'll be playing in december. I'm a bit drunk and thanks to this thread and the Spice Girls conversation I'm bopping on Say You'll Be There.
Just remembered that this is probably my favorite Spice Girls song. I need to find away to add this to my setlist (which shouldn't be too hard considering it's mostly r&b and pop music).
Working at 5am both today and tomorrow, but this afternoon my street had it's monthly meetup. It's a super cool street here in Cincinnati, and the fact that we're two married dudes is far less weird than it is that we're basically the only couple without kids. I got to hang out with some great folks and be surrogate uncle for the day. It was the best.

I came back from a trip from work on friday. I helped out on a political campaign on Saturday, then had dinner with some friends at a really nice restaurant (it's almost summer here, so I went ahead and had two nice, refreshing mojitos, heh). Sunday has been mostly meetings (from the political movement that I participate in), did some french homework and now am working (and listening to some Zelda music).
A friend's baby turned 1 year old this week and the couple organized his first birthday party. Some of their families and friends met all together for lunch. There were lots of children and babies there too. I don't want to become a father of any baby, but I wouldn't mind if my brother made me an uncle.

As I mentioned, I'm a writer. I very much enjoy writing fanfic even if I don't publish it online often. I also roleplay- used to be on forums, but now mostly over chat-based programs. I've also taken up playing D&D lately, play every other week with a local group ~2 hours away by public transit, but I have a lot of character ideas in my head so hopefully I can find another non-conflicting local group or an online one...
Someone must have been helping you take part in those campaigns, talk!
