To be fair, leveling up alone should eat through that money. 40 to 50 is 350k, while 50 to 60 is like 800k.
Times 10 or 15 characters for 2-3 teams, and you're looking at a lot of money.

Never mind that upgrade items drop rates suck so much that buying them is a viable option.

I'm sat on like 10k right now after levelling and equipping dudes. Deadpool is sat levelled at around 30 because I can't afford to bring him up to viable levels. Same with Thor. Basically any good B-team guys are sat there waiting for a cash windfall so I can level them into a decent secondary team. It doesn't help that I'm levelling faster than I can keep up with - I'm level 56 (or thereabouts) and my highest level guys are 54 :/

Levels 50-60 are the toughest on your gold reserves. Once you hit the cap, you start being able to level up your B team. It's still not quite enough, but it's better than now.

Oh is 60 the cap? That's actually quite comforting to hear.

I think once I hit 60 I'm going to actually start trying to get through the campaign. I've only the final Heroes mission left (desperate to farm Cap!!!!) and the 6 tier for villains (need to level those dudes up!).

Yeah unfortunately there is no option to download all, and early on you are encountering all the assets for the first time. After an hour of play everything will probably be downloaded

Great as long as it will stop eventually. What about the Yondu farming tip in the OP? I just finished the chapter. I go back to it?

Yeah its heroes 1-9, you'll want to autofarm that every day until he's unlocked. Progress is slow going since you don't improve until you actually get him but once you do its once of the biggest power boosts in the game. As you play through the story you'll come to a point where its too hard. Stop, level your characters, and replay the levels to collect more of the gear they need to get stronger which will allow you to progress. If you check gear on a char in the roster it will even tell you what missions to farm to get that gear.

I am assuming that the level cap wil be raised at some point?

So right now I just focus on farming chapter 1 or I just proceed in the story till everything gets tough? Because I don't know how to feel about the fact that I have to farm early in the game

Got the remaining shards I needed for Cap this weekend. Thought he would be a pipe dream after they increased the difficulty of the campaign during the IW event. Just need to level him up along with Deadpool too then I should have some decent options for my A and B teams.

Think going forward I'm just going to focus on levelling 1 or 2 characters going forward. Managed to save 1.3 million in gold mowing that I needed to level Cap and Deadpool once I had the shards for them. Just hope I've got enough materials.

No no, you can only farm a character mission 5 times a day. You're doing both, progressing and farming at the same time on the side. You'll also be refreshing your energy with power cores because that is the best use of them. You can buy 120 energy for 50 power cores thrice daily which I recommend everyone do.

It has to be since there are achievements for hitting level 65

WOW, I forgot to take a screenshot but in arena I had offense down on enemy winter soldier and he punched my captain and chunked him from max hp to about 20%

I need this dudes's shards to drop for me already. I wanna knockout punch people too

Yeah I pumped up Winter soldier to nearly 5k then realised he's kinda stuck at 2 star unless I'm lucky. I like him a lot but without a reliable way to invest in him Ive had to look at other characters for the meantime

Just beat an arena fight that would have put me from 190 to in the 170's and when it loaded back to the arena screen after I won it said I was in the 200's. I'm guessing someone was battling me during my battle? My win should take precedence over that though. They should probably fix that haha.

Thats weird. Normally I get a message saying the persons in a battle try again later (or at least some wording with the same meaning). Wonder if they changed it or if they attacked you at the exact same time your fight started.....

I'm in the same boat. Focusing on my main team and they aren't even at my overall level and I'm almost continuously sitting near broke. I'd love a strong B and C team for raids but that seems like it'll be a whiles off.

I'm thinking that's what happened. What's weird is if that's the case, then my loss took precedent over the win, which sucks. Oh well, not the end of the world.

Same boat, not sure if its a bug or not but if it isn't they aren't clearly communicating the requirements. I mean when I look at the recommendations for the first tier it says level 15 which all of my characters are above so I'm really unsure what they want.

So quick question. Right now, rather than focusing on a main team, I'm trying to get a bunch of characters up to higher levels to give me options. Is this a good plan? Or should I pick a team of 5 characters, grow them until I stagnate, and then start working on other options?

Don't level everyone randomly that's a good way to go broke on gold. Level your top 5 and replace them with the meta options when you get them. Once you have the meta strong team you can work on building up a B team.

The shards are only double for one day? Seems a bit stingy haha. Well no mercy runs for me then.

Also, should I invest in Hawkeye or Quake? I know her damage is better but it feels like his status clearing abilities and his passive are much more useful. Does her damage output just edge him out for top tier? Trying to replace nightnurse on my top blitz team.

Both of them are great need to see rest of your team comp to make a choice

Right now my main team is Daredevil, Crossbones, Thanos, Wolverine, and Capt. America. Daredevil, Crossbones, and Wolverine are 4*, Capt and Thanos are 3*. Daredevil and Crossbones are Tier 7, Wolverine is almost Tier 7, Thanos and Capt are tier 6. I have all their abilities, other than the passive, at Rank 3, with a couple here and there at Rank 4. Honestly my biggest hurdle so far has been the items you need to rank up abilities, moreso than gold. I have many other characters that are level 45-50 and ranked between tiers 5 and 6 as well. Is there anyone in that group you think I should switch out?

My top team is Yondu, Cap, Xbones, Gamora. Playing with the idea of substituting Wolverine in. Don't have any other hard to get top tiers at the moment. Working on Drax and slowly Thor.

DD has been a solid opener for me while I build my Hawkeye, Gamora, and Yondu up. I wouldn't hesitate to keep him for now.

Since you already invested pretty heavily into DD and he is a solid DPS I guess just keep using him for now. Gamora gets really really strong with ability upgrades though.
