Aikatsu Friends 7
The Idol Witch looks like a villain protagonist to me, turning those innocent men in suits into animals for her own amusement. So Aine is suddenly called on to guest star in a show, something she has no experience in. And what does the school do? Train her and make sure she's prepared like any good business should do. Feels almost novel after some other shows I've seen. Still find Mirai to be a fairly generic senpai, but she did get a bit of fleshing out at least. Plus she had a god-tier performance, so that makes her good in my book.

Garo 24/End
Finally done with this, I had only the last episode left, but I keep putting it off.
This was a decent ending, however I felt like it dragged on for too long. Though I guess "It went on for too long" is a general criticism I have for the whole anime in general. The middle part just dragged and dragged for way too long and for a 24 episodes long show I don't think the main character's development was particularly noteworthy. Sophie was solid though, and I did like her final choice to become a Makai Alchemist.
I guess overall it's not bad and a solid Devil May Cry adaptation but the first Garo anime is still better.

Started Heroes of Galaxy (Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu)
In the begining, I planned to watch the on going remake but then I learned it will only 24 ep while the original has 110 ep!
So I brought myself to start from the begining, the movie helped me to get into the story pretty easely and it was recommended by fans since it's kinda the prologue of the tv serie.
Then I watched the OAV because it seems they rushed the 2 first episodes of the tv serie because the light novel was out.
I don't regret it to have watched in that order because strangely it helped me to by pass the old animations of the tv serie
I will post when I will continue to watch it again.

It seems my inner hipster woke up and it is preventing me from liking Katsuki, I think he is the only character of all BnHA I don't like.
Thats one way to sell it to me, now that i am in a DMC kick these days and replayed the whole series for some reason.
Was always interested in it anyway but impressions of it kinda fell off after a while and forgot about it
On the note, I'm willing to bet they're gonna to make a 20-minutes short. I mean, why not try to talk to Netflix when they're already accept full episodes like Devilman Crybaby?

I've been rewatching Kaiba and it still is one of my favorite animes, from the artstyle, tone and the characters. I love the music as well especially the opening. Probably my favorite thing from Yuasa.
I figure that might be the case since there is some definite parallels between the original and this.
Especially if he becomes punch-drunk.
That's one kind of way to disregard the job of the staff involved in the pre-production and production, I guess. There's much more respectful ways to say it than in that way.
I dont think criticism of the final product is disregarding the creation process. Its not like media NEVER has writing issues in the production stage, anyone can see the numerous script changes and etc made for movies and tv shows (mid season and etc).
Now watch the remake and have your mind go back to normal.

She is upper-class trash skating by while middle-class HItomi and almost-as-poor-as-that-MHA-girl Anzu struggle to get by.
Reminds of Daily life of High School Boys where Tadakuni phased out as one of the main characters to more of a side character.
Hina's deadpan sloth can be amusing, but the series would be intolerable if she was the only focus character.

So that is why Hina is the main character, Anzu never had a chance with this huge character flaw

I think this anime could've been shorter, but 12 episodes wouldn't have been enough IMO.

Why is Gunma is so many anime this season, the anime You still dont know Gunma yet? Major 2nd, and now YowaPeda.
A show centered around Anzu would be too depressing and heartbreaking. We need all three of them to equal things out.
With all the foreshadowing ("dead" in episode titles and the "not dead yet" at the end of every ep), I'm actually kinda expecting them to pull a 180 and let him live now.
All the funny chapters usually center on Hitomi or Nitta while Anzu has all the feelz ones. Hina chapters usually have some cringe humor that are more hit & miss.

yes my braces kun got a moment to really smile and do something even though he was weak compared to rest, hes still my fav Kyoto fushimi. Was a fun but brief moment. I did want him to be King of the Mountain.
Midosuji was really amazing this episode, how they fell for his plan and the way he was all into it lol.

Ah yes, it just would not be a Build incarnation without Bearguy and that being said this was the kind of episode that really reminds a person that this is a kids series with lie lessons right out of a Western cartoon from the 1970s and also their spin on the Heart of the Cards and such.
