I've jumped into Dark Souls PTD with a fresh, deprived start. I'm now remembering why I bailed on playing it years ago: it's janky all fuck. Bell Gargoyles are the goddamn worst and I can't kite them. One keeps ending up just riding the fire of the second one, leaving me no windows to attack. Get stuck in a corner, try to run to get room, then they coordinate so that I can't roll through one of their attacks. Fat and Lean seem easy in comparison. At least in their stage, you have room and obstacles that can give you a leg-up. Here, no walls, no room, two gargoyles cover the width of the roof easy with their far-reaching hits and ability to simply strike at just different times to make rolling useless.
Will try again tomorrow. Might farm for vitality and stamina.
Upgrade your weapon (it's more important than your character level at this point) and use gold pine resin, the fight should last less than 30 seconds
lol, you don't like Bossa Nova?

I don't exactly like Jazz either, but damn. I personally consider it to be way too up it's own ass, but it's not evil per say.
Can't tell if serious
Woop! :)

Watching LobosJr's playthrough of the DS1 Scorched Contract mod, and this is a really well made mod. I like the ability to choose your own path somewhat, it's very in keeping with DS1's world. Now if I just had a PC to play it! :)
Watching the second part on and off now. The triple Sanctuary Guardian was too much even for him, the mod creator nerfed it!

Bloodborne Alpha ride never ends
Living Livers were basically what Boss Souls are in Dark Souls. Each boss has one.
yes, there is a lot of phases, very BB like. Why not pick up DS2 before you get too deep in 3? it doesn't deserve the bad rap it has, imo, I really do think its it a fantastic game.Vordt is dead. Took me a lot of tries.
I'm not sure I like every boss having at least two phases. It basically doubles the amount of attempts I need to beat it since I have to learn even more attack patterns, haha. That asinine 'bonfire to boss' run still being there doesn't help either.

I plan on completing DS2 some day, much like Bloodborne. But considering my backlog, and the amount of time a full NG playthrough can take, I decided to go for DS3 because I think it lends itself best for a back-to-back playthrough with Remastered. From what I know of DS2 and how it fits with DS and especially DS3 it sort of feels like the middle child of the family (TV Tropes warning). If that makes sense.yes, there is a lot of phases, very BB like.
