At this point at least they have the numbers. 800+ versus 300+. I somehow doubt the 300 all have weapons either. With some strategic strikes I'd say the grounders have the advantage at the moment. Raven and Murphy are in the worst situation though(they'll be fine).

Why was Kane trying to talk sense into Octavia as if she'd just started? It's been years.

To be fair, letting them know means ending the agreement and puts the people on the ground in more danger once the gig is up. The only thing stopping them from killing Clarke and Bellamy (as well as getting everyone out of the bunker) was the agreement.
I was pretty annoyed that Raven and Murphy decided to wake up everyone on the ship. Why not try to open just a few? How does flooding the ship with murderers help their situation - at all? Unless they can like lock them in that room or something, but that obviously isn't sustainable for any real length of time...

Yeah that Octavia bit was really annoying. Maybe she liked it down there? Like, way to be grateful to your brother who you haven't seen for years who rescues you first chance he gets.
Still, loved the episode and I'm glad they're blasting through the plot this season - they could've strung this whole thing with the bunker out for at least another few episodes so it's nice to see they're keeping up the pace.

They'll go to space, but the ship will land on earth somehow and we'll get a season of them thinking they're on a new planet.
The other option is to deliberately freeze themselves for 100s of years and then come down once the earth's healed up.
But that's just a retread of S1 and would really be better as a series ending.
Shiiiiiiiit hadn't occurred to me but you're probably right. They've already referenced nightblood being tied to Eligius 3, wouldn't be surprised if they find out there's a whole nightblood colony out there somewhere and they abandon the earth to search for it or use it as a way to end the series.
Totally called the "use the prisoners to open the bunker" plan, I just didn't expect it to happen the next episode.
Overall a much better episode this week. I'm glad there was a voice of reason with all the dark violence in the bunker. Octavia has really fallen off. I wish it didn't have to be Kaine though, it seems like that's all they write his character to do now.
Yeah. And girl genius Raven could keep a hacker at bay but didn't even bother to try to override the docking bay system? So many plot contrivances this season to keep pushing the action forward at breakneck pace, it's a bit annoying. And frankly I'd rather die of suffocation than the hell they're about to enter.
I'm not sure how Octavia plans to wage war on a ship in space. Why does the Colonel even need to get Raven? Didn't she tell that guy that they'd "get the doctor and go home to find a cure"? I assumed "home" meant another planet.

Really awkward to have Raven and Murphy open the cryo doors and then when next we see them they've been captured and are on Earth again.

Octavia is really bugging with this determined Wonkru thing. Being headstrong might have worked when they were playing Bunker Gladiator Games, but not when the enemy has spaceships and missiles. Still you have to admire the loyalty she has inspired in her people, even the new villain had to salute and listen to what Kane has to say about Octavia.

Clarke needs to recharge her genocide batteries. I wonder how long it'll be before she pulls the trigger on killing those convicts.
I suspect the hacker/pilot from the convicts will join the main cast at some point, feels like they are headed in that direction with his character.

I just started binging this show a couple of weeks ago. I've been enjoying it although it can get a bit trite at times with how stupid some of their decisions can be.
I think Bellamy and Jasper have been my least favorite characters overall. I honestly wish Jasper woulda died a horrible death for creating a literal death cult but he kinda got off easy.

This show is so good....cast and story deliver.

I missed last but this week's episode was damn good and brutal. The chest burster scene was tough to watch but an excellent nod to Alien. Octavia scowling at Bellamy and Echo's PDA was the reaction everyone expected to see and it delivered.
The plot hole with Murphy and Raven was glaringly bad though. Writers must have been feeling deadline pressures and didn't want to include a bridge scene showing them getting sent down to Earth. It's too bad people noticed it. The space tech must be crazy advanced in The 100.
