In the distant future, humanity has discovered a method to replicate matter through the use of a Dimensional Gate. Industry is revolutionized overnight and a short period of chaos gives way to all warring factions uniting under a common banner.
A few years pass and the peace brought about by Gate Technology crumbles once a new threat appears; a race of energy parasites that have crossed through the Dimensional Gate by mimicking the very materials humanity had believed they were replicating. Mankind is quickly overtaken as their technology is turned against them and the energy emitted by the parasites begins to take control of those exposed.
In an act of desperation, the experimental RSK9 is constructed, a ship made of Pre-Gate materials and technology with the ability to absorb parasite energy and use it to power its incredible arsenal. Piloting the RSK9 is Alys, an ace pilot previously missing in action that has returned seemingly immune to parasite control. Her skill and resistance to the parasite energies influence make her the only pilot capable of preventing the extinction of mankind.

Unlike the majority of 2D action games, the combat system in Unformed is very challenging, heavily inspired by Dark Soul and other games in the Souls series. Long ago, a shrine was built to protect against the spirits that were thought to roam the hills northeast of town. Izuna and Gedo are the shrine's guardian foxes. When Gedo disappears, the shrine's protective power is thrown out of balance and strange things start to happen.
Gedo wasn't the only one to be spirited away, however, as Suzume's brother Toshiki vanishes one summer night while out catching fireflies. During a frantic search through the woods, Suzume crosses paths with the mysterious fox Izuna and the two decide to help each find what the other is looking for.
Miyamori is an action-adventure platformer set in a small town in northern Japan. It draws its inspiration from games like Okami, Majora's Mask, and Yoshi's Island, as well as folktales from the Tohoku region of Japan and the works of Miyazawa Kenji. ​

  • The year is 1999 and humanity has been carrying on just as it's always been. Thank you so much for your good words.
Sadly for the gifs I am trying to avoid them as much as possible, because if they are in one page with 50 posts they slow down the page a lot.
With this, a user with low internet connection can browser my Thread easily as well.

Enter Bahlam, a sunken fortress of the Old Gods, located deep in the South Atlantic Ocean. Following a shipwreck, maritime archaeologist and adventurer Nikolay Bernstein regains consciousness 36.000 feet under the sea. He's severely wounded and unwillingly connected to a supernatural Buddy-unit. Searching for answers about his displacement our main protagonist digs deep into the lost undercity, gradually realizing an ominous presence hollowing in its shadowed caverns.
On your journey home you will share your fate with a friendly tribe of mining creatures, the Wozan, who fear the Old Gods and strive to get back to the surface since their ancestors had been enslaved 5000 years ago. Some of them were able to flee and founded secret colonies deep inside the sunken ruins, others are still exploited by the hostile creatures that have overtaken the city since the Old Gods suddenly disappeared.

While the story contains strong horror elements it's not always the most obvious monsters which are the most frightening.
