Damn twitter apparently roasting rocky. Guess the world don't like it lol. Only skips so far are call drops and the intro.

So far.

Man I'm driving 7 hours overnight and I'm gonna eat the entire way. Pusha, Rocky, and there's even an MC Paul Barman album for the super old heads.

EDIT: and Moses Sumney remixes by James Blake and Sufjan? I love the summer.

couple weak tracks on the Rocky album for sure but mostly it's really good. Bet a 7 track version of this album would be nuts

I excepted better, idk if I'll return to this near as much as his other albums but for the rest of my life I'll always lose my mind when I hear " Come fuck with the mob/ Shoutout to the Lords and the Gods" so I'm happy

I hope you're driving with someone because the look on their face when you put on the Barman album after the first two will be hilarious.

Finished Daytona and immediately put it back on and listened through it again. Goddamn these beats are ridiculous.

Would've loved for Pusha T to have a verse on that one.
Just got finished listening to the Pusha album, and man, that shit is solid. Just the right length. Production is great all around. The Games We Play and Infrared contain maybe the best lyricism of 2018 thus far. And Kanye's (R.I.P.) verse on What Would Meek Do? is surprisingly solid. Good shit.

20 minutes of Push is perfect. He's not that versatile so hour long albums of his stuff always bored me to tears after a while.

This Push has amazing production. As for Push, I couldn't care less what he has to say

Gonna dive into Rocky next; social media reactions are hilarious

Daytona is disappointing af. Production in dinner of these tracks isn't great either.

21 minute album with maybe 3 or 4 keepers. DBD is better .

Rocky's album is... different. IIRC his last album was similar too, so it's not that surprising to me. Appreciate the experimentation, but nothing I would listen to again.

Now onto DAYTONA.

I feel bad for ASAP. If you gonna release bloated basura, definitely don't do it on the same day Pusha and Ye release streamlined fire.

Infrared may be one of the standout rap tracks of this year. I'm finding the Pusha T album quite refreshing, at least to me.. Speaking as Someone who's been lately been listening to a lot of the swag, "mumble", xanny, emo rap etc whatever you want to call it. It's refreshing to have a pure hip hop album - with no fluff. Dope lyrical forte and production. Not going to say its mind blowing or anything but it nice. Only tracks I'm not too hot on are Hard Piano and What would meek do, but I have a feeling the latter will grow on me.
