Cincinnati is in. Announcement next week.

Very likely Columbus move will also be announced as finalized next week, too.

iirc, most (all?) of the matches were streamed last year.
Cool. Ima have to look this up.

The California State Force play near me and I was checking out a few weeks ago if it was possible to throw some money at them to be a part owner but couldn't find the option like some other clubs have. Ended up buying a share in a small English league team in the 7th or 8th division instead.

There were maybe about 40% Dortmund fans on Tuesday night. Blew my mind how many fans there were, and especially how many German looking fans were there since I rarely ever hear any Bundesliga chatter.

With the Cincinatti announcement, that probably means moving to Austin is a done deal for the Crew.

Apparently Almiron picked up a yellow in the ATL game, but it's not listed anywhere. That shit is weird.

I'm sorry Crew fans. San Antonio also pretty much screwed out of MLS now.

It sucks but we're fighting until the end. The problem is the league and Precourt will take any offer Austin puts on the table, no matter how bad it is for them.

The positive news is that a ton of FC Cincinnati fans are being vocal about keeping the Crew now because of our rivalry, so if the hope was this would somehow kill the resistance, they failed. Again.

Yea, moving the Crew is probably the dumbest thing the league has done. Literally no one but Precourt wants it to happen.

Garber does.

They see Austin as literally nothing else but a bunch of moneybags that they can pilfer from, because MLS thinks Austin is too stupid to know better since they've never had a professional sports team there.

I dunno if Garber actually wants it to happen. I get the feeling that he/MLS are kind of hamstrung by the deal they signed when Precourt bought the Crew, which has sort of forced MLS's hand in terms of helping with the relocation. You are the expert though, and I guess it does not really matter what Garber wants personally, since its his actions that matter.

It's so asinine that they're giving Columbus a great nearby rivalry and then taking them away to go to a state who already has two teams with middling support.

But as someone who *really* doesn't want MLS in my city, go for it Cinci. You have fun.

Apparently "Miami Freedom FC" has been trademarked and the thinking is that it's Beckham's group. That's some 90s tier MLS naming.

rumors of Piatti getting traded or getting sold are ramping up like crazy

for those of you who don't understand why, don't worry, we also don't get it!

Miami Freedom = $1.05 FC.
I still don't get why they don't go with Miami Vice. They'd have colors and a theme song ready made for them. Plus it'd be amazing. The only people who'd hate it are purists who hate the league and haters who would never watch anyway.

I'm usually not one for cribbing traditional Euro club names, but something about Inter Miami just works for me.

We've got FC Dallas, Houston Dynamo, x United, Sporting, and Real. Columbus = Borussia Hamburger, ATL and MTL are the kit equivalents of AC/Inter.

Lean into it Miami: A. S. Atletico Club Miami de Internazional Olympic A. C.

Come on you men in turquoise!

If the Crew move to Texas, they should become PSV SXSW FC

Mascot is Partick Thistle's Kingsley with a 10 gallon cowboy hat on

Edit: And 6 shooters

I still like this concept for Miami...

But Miami Vice wouldn't have been bad, either

This Tyler Adams news is hilarious. Apparently we're getting $10 million for him, which is what we got for Jozy, and it's gonna happen in the summer.

Then after the deal is done he's getting loaned back to us immediately until the end of the season.

So we're just getting Pussetto money for nothing.

How did he not score that header? I'm getting old school Tampa Bay Buccaneers vibes from those Houston kits. I like it.

I'm looking for a reason to really dislike NYCFC. Other than them being affiliated with Manchester City...I got nothing.

Friday night double header is free on Twitter. Watching NYCFC right now.

6 minutes in...NYCFC up 1-0.
Some of the supporters are horrible, like starting fights and breaking chairs and stuff.
