Interesting. I find the Oblivion shot to look nicer. Skyrim has higher res textures, but the colours and art style look better and more vibrant somehow (of course the Skyrim one is fully snowed in, so perhaps the comparison isn't entirely fair).The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (XB1X) / The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (XB1X)
I think that the snow creates an unfair comparison. But I do agree that in general Oblivion is more vibrant whereas Skyrim is more dull with the grey winter wasteland tone it has going throughout a lot of areas.
To be fair. The Skyrim screenshot isn't part of the official game, it's from a mod that adds Cyrodill (Oblivion) as a playable area. It's currently limited to the northern part of the map. It looks amazing and adds a lot of lush green areas with dense fauna into the game, a thing that I missed in Skyrim.
Dude that is a gorgeous shot :OI know this picture is nothing when compared to 99% of what gets posted here. But when I stand on the edge of the Tower in Destiny 2 (PS4) I always think the view is a little bit special.
