Yeah Markus was definitely distant third for me. Kara was no doubt number 1, but Connor started creeping up in the back half after he stopped acting like he had a stick up his ass.
I've never watched Dragonball and don't care enough to do so.

Even intimating the Buu Saga is worse than some of DBGT is stretching the truth very far.
You're right, I always forget about GT until someone brings it up, like a bad memory. Plus we're still unsure if GT is actually canon or not.
Ah, man I love the Super Picollo/Cell/Android 17 episodes. But a big part of that is Picollo being one of my favorite DB characters. This is his big moment. I think the worst arc of the show is Frieza/Goku. I barely remember anything about the show post Cell Games.
Picollo's power up in front of Cell (the shaking) is so fucking cool. But it seemed to barely register with Jeff and Dan.
The best fight of the entire show now lies ahead.

oh yeah it's a great moment, especially if you have watched the early piccolo stuff too. Just the overall arc is probably my least favourite because of how unfocused (yet serious) it is.

I think I like this more than the early Saiyan stuff, at least. But I also knew way less about the specifics of this arc (though I knew all the characters involved and some of the more major plot beats/how it's going to end) so that probably helps, since it's cool to see how it actually plays out.

but at this point its just a matter of my time. the checkpointing is fine, great even. but even just one level takes so damn long. granted thats a criticism i have of the normal game too
I can see why given their reasoning of not being hyped as much for piccolo since he hasn't done much.
But Its my favorite non Saiyan fight bar none.

I haven't even looked at 3-C yet and it's been a couple months, since I had to pry myself away from it to actually put time into things that weren't it and Picross S, but I really would like to do all of them before I get so incredibly rusty that I'd have to relearn the basics or something

What toriyama did with pilaf was a pretty explicit way of saying it's not part of the current continuity
Gotta say, NeoGeo Colliseum was a surprise. I think back when Jeff and Vinny quick looked it, they felt underwhelmed. But here it did quite well for its science. Meanwhile MK vs. DC didn't do so hot. Jeff stands by liking it; but Jason and Ben sure weren't fans.

-Freeza is shown in Toei's filler version of Hell and barely able to take on GT Kid Goku, while Super showed a completely unique Hell for Freeza alone, and then he was revived and became as strong as SSB Goku
-Actually, the whole Hell thing in particular. Yemma notes that Freeza is uniquely stubborn in refusing to be cleansed and reincarnated, which would mean most of the other bad guys wouldn't still be ghosts able to escape from Hell (also, there's, like, movie villains shown with the ghosts)
-Supreme Kai looked through all of Universe 7 in Super to find more fighters for the Tournament of Power and said he couldn't find anyone strong enough, so unless the Machine Mutants and stuff just didn't exist yet, they don't exist at all
-Supreme Kai and Kibito used the Namekian Dragon Balls to de-fuse in Super, while in GT they're still Kibito Kai

I mean yes, technically all of Super is happening before GT starts but it would be impossible, not just a stretch, for any of it to be cannon due to the events of super. Like, how does SS4 make sense with SSB and Ultra Instinct?

I mean I think kambay's point was less "how does this make sense when there's already a form beyond SS3" and more "why wouldn't they just use the more powerful forms they already have"
