redditt says 360 gwg for june are Lego Indiana jones 2 and sonic racing transformed. Awesome if true, don't own either. XboxOne games are not so good as expected.

I'd love Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed to be true. I have the Wii U version (which I can't play right now because the console belongs to my older brother) and have been wanting to get the Xbox 360 version to play on Xbox One. That game is fantastic. Would be great to have more people playing, too. Online is fun.

I'm guessing Smite would just be getting all of the characters or something for free? 'Cause that's a free game already.

You're welcome internet. Sonic Racing Transformed is a great game. Too bad I just spent $30 for a digital copy about two weeks ago. Oh well

I actually really liked Sonic Racing Transformed on the PS3, so having the 360 version is cool with me, overall though it isn't the greatest GWG month with those offerings.

Here, duh.
Always been curious about these Sonic racing games, so that's a win I guess. The Lego games are consistent, at least.

Shame about the X1 stuff, though. First dud month in a long time for that platform in my book. I guess it's hard to follow up Vanquish.

That's a shameful month. If that is what we can expect for the future, damn. But in a way it makes sense to add better games to Game Pass instead of GwG.

watched a vid on Crysis today and got curious what the 360 version would be like on the One X. A solid 30fps could make for a nice version of the game aka minus the damn flying levels they thankfully cut. The Crysis console ports are the Half Life 2 Xbox of the 360/PS3 gen. i.e. some game that has no business on there, sounded like a bullshit rumor, but somehow made it out and is just playable enough to make it an acceptable experience. with a solid framerate though, it might not be a bad way to go for stable 4K crysis and does actually have some elements upgraded from the pc version, since it's on the crysis 2 engine

At the very least, it'd be interesting!

edit: hey, now that I mentioned it-- maybe Half Life 2 Xbox BC just for fun too. I'd buy it just to mess around with it for a couple hours. Sort of a waste of a slot though, considering everybody has a superior copy of the game one way or another.

A few days back I got a Viva Pinata TiP update that was like 450mb I was excited thinking "yes!! 4k supersampling!!" but nothing seemed to change. Any idea what that was? I kinda wish MS had the patch notes section like PS4 does.

For some reason BF 1943 wont start for me. It shows the Title then just crashes to home screen.

Its ok though, been playing Fight Night Champion. Its still amazing and there is people online (although most of them destroy me and are clearly veterans lol)

Cool, I get to finish the Assassins Creed: Chronicles series, which is actually pretty fun.

Don't care about the other 3, though. lol

ah ok. so not even really GWG persay. fun...

I guess? This isn't necessarily new though, a lot of Telltale games had the first episode go permanently free, effectively working as a f2p title as you could play 20% or so of the game and pay for the rest, with GWG giving out the rest for free, with the base game already having been free the whole time, though. It's not unprecedented.

but that's not the same. unless you need this additional stuff to complete the game. with Telltale you'd only get 1 out of 5 or 6 episodes free, and you couldn't finish the game without the other episodes. this seems like it's just some loot boxes, in essence.

Since it's a multiplayer game, talking about completion is misleading either way here. You are not wrong in the sense that it isn't necessarily a new game per se, but I don't mind stuff like this to be honest. I don't play Fortnite much, but I'd imagine a lot of people would be happy if GWG was the current season's Battle Pass and a fuckload of V-buckz. Not gonna happen of course, but it could work.

Fair enough. I don't even know what SMITE is (and I downloaded it previously). I can't imagine the game is big enough people are hankering for this pack. But oh well.

On Xbox it's consistently in the top 25 most played games, and I think I've seen it in the top 10 as well, I guess when events or new heroes dropped or something. On PC they also have 5-figures playing everyday, and there are all kinds of pretty big tournaments. It's not exactly League Of Legends, but it's a very respectable MOBA game in terms of players and relevance. This probably isn't the place you'll see most people happy about the pack, for one I don't really care about it, but I don't find it a bad initiative per se.

Not a good June month for me personally as i already have Sonic Racing, the rest is not really good. BUT, for those who like arcade racers, Sonic racing is a must play !
