Anyone else think Fosko and Frijolito are the same person on 2 accounts? Going to be some serious crow being consumed in a couple of days.
So there WAS a media event. I mentioned it earlier that a while back someone said there was going to be a Pokémon media event.
It's still Flareon. BST doesn't matter to the majority of people that play Pokemon.
That has literally nothing to do with the original 151. Nothing. It was a lightning in a bottle phenomenon that's never going to be recaptured.
He is counting Red, Blue, Green, Yellow AND the 3DS VC re releases lol
This doesn't change the issue of them excluding more than half of Eevee's evolutions (and other evolutions of Gen 1 Pokemon).

And you know what the remakes of Gen 1 sold? Under 12 million copies. So if you think that a 3D version of Kanto will magically sell 47 million copies again then you are wrong. Pokémon when it came out was a phenomenon and there is no way it will ever be recreated.
Do not underestimate the power of:
New $60 Price + Gen 1/Pokemania Nostalgia + Pokemon Go Conversions + Pokemon fans that will literally buy any Pokemon Game (99% of Era)

The event starts at 10 am Japan time, news will be out after 11:30 Japan time.
And having to wait for them for god knows how long is utterly dumb. They should be available from the beginning, people probably won't be able to transfer from Bank because they don't have the patch or whatever
Technically that phenomenon was recreated and then some for Pokemon Go but I do agree with you that mainline games probably won't reach 32 mil+ again.

I know you're reaching your boiling points and are very desperate for information. I'm here to give you guys some! You guys don't know me, but I'm actually a custodian at Gamefreak's offices. Between JO sessions after hours, sometimes I go and check out what they're working on.
Just yesterday, I logged in to Yuki Fukishimi Nagasaki's PC and saw that the game's titles are indeed correct. They are called Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee.
I also found out that they are the only two pokemon in the game. You basically just catch a bunch of Pikachus and Eevees with different goofy outfits on. Some are black, white, asian, hispanic, etc. There are even trans pokemon. This is why a lot of leakers are saying it will be very divisive and mixed when it comes to reactions.
It will only be on mobile and is replacing GO, and you have to have a Windows phone to play it for the first year because of timed exclusivity.
I hope this tides you guys over until tomorrow when the big blowout is!

Funny you say that because I'm sure FRLG are the worst selling remakes
OG 151 can cure cancer and save earth from pollution guys, and they make me feel safe and secure. Not overwhelmed.

Is this media event you're referring to the one with the announcement?
Why did Ruby/Sapphire sell 16 million while everyone's precious Gen 1 Fire Red and Leaf Green only sell 12 million. Gen 3 is obviously the superior Gen.
Why would you want $120 of DLC for content that was free in every other game?
I think he's the guy who has inside information. According to him we'll get the Pokémon news in 7 hours and 16 minutes from now or so.
