When you rest at a bonfire, the options in the bonfire menu will include "warp" or "warp to location" or something like that. You need to have the Lordvessel to have that ability though -- you get it after O&S.
You need to get the sorceries from the Mushroom in the DLC if you want the trophy. I didn't get the trophy with the vanilla items. Shit, I wonder if that's the case with the weapons too, because I gave up on Kalameet's tail.

probably didn't find it as it's behind an invisible wall. You'll have to go down from firelink if you didn't find the duaghter of chaos bonfire.
Falchion was the trademark weapon of Oroboro, which is one of the most prominent PvP fighters in DS1, so yeah lol
(And then they made curved weapons OP again in DS3...)
Sounds about right. Only level up stats that will benefit you, so if you're not using any weapon that scales with STR/DEX, no need to level them beyond your weapon requirements.
Bonfire is called 'Daughter of Chaos'
Slap a buff on it, and you basically kill anything that doesn't have poise.
Forest Hunter doesn't, annoyingly.
You need the LordVessel. Not all bonfires are warpable after that, even.
Anybody know how to get this chest in the township part of the DLC?
It's in the large building full of bloated guys at the bottom of oocile township. Once you enter said building and go down the stairs theres a stone archway with some steps that take you to the top of that building. It looks like you might be able to jump in some parts but I havent been able to make any jump.

Got mine on my first Channeler kill in the Parish. If you're around SL 40 in Dickstab Forest, I can drop it for you.
I'm confused about that, because I'm certain I bought all of Dusk's sorceries, but I got the trophy when I bought repair from Elizabeth in the DLC. Did I just forget to buy that from Dusk, or have they changed it?
Maybe you forgot to buy that spell from Dusk, you have to empty her inventory.

I'm progressing well through the DLC.
I found Royal Woods to be more relaxing/actually quite fun with a shield. I hated that area on my first playthrough. I got Artorias after I'd say 6 or 7 attempts (certainly quicker than the week it took me originally). I also killed Ciaran :( and Chester >:D for their clothes, so I have now attained Peak Fashion Souls.
People believe the DLC is endgame too which is not.

I feel like pyromancy drops off massively in the late game.
I also feel like I wasted a lot of twinkling titanite on the thorns armor.
Just Artorias DLC left to do now before the endgame, now while I'm all for not having immediate warps in DS games, the sheer amount of walking I've had to do has me thinking they really could've just done a DS2 and put all the bonfires in as warp points, I've done SO MUCH RUNNING (capra's point above also comes to mind, it's a pickle of a place to go back and forth from)
Freakin' Big Hat Logan somehow freed himself from his own cell, I went all the way back with the key and he wasn't there so that led to another long stroll back (since the cell bonfire isn't linked to the rest), at least he redeemed himself by how his sidequest ends.

You don't really need to go back after killing the hydra, is probably faster just leaving the game and continuing. Once you load the save the golem will be there.
It's through an illusory wall on the upper levels you need to cast a light source for it to be revealed like another one earlier in the area. (Cast Light spell, Sunlight Maggot, Skull Lantern)

Seem to have the same thing, no notes anywhere. Checked my messages, and all of them have 0 ratings, when they at least had a few before.
Is the login server borked? It just starts me in offline mode. Cant be a softban because I havent even interacted with anyone in the game yet. On PC, already restarted my router

I have a similar issue going on. I've been sitting at around 50 humanity for most of my playthrough and at one point had around 250k souls just from doing so much coop. Humanity I'm not sure what to do with but I burnt most is my souls getting pyro flame to +14 on a whim.
I'm annoyed to hear about this weapon matching system, a got a Black Knight Sword and immediately upgraded it to +4 and then to +5 as soon as I could, I guess that's why I'm not being summoned often.
I just Ornstein and Smough and that about marks the end of the part of the game I really love, so I think I'm going to start again with a different build and try to make my character more summon-able this time. From what I understand the rules are that I shouldn't pick up any weapons that require anything other than regular titanite to upgrade. What I don't understand is how far I should go to avoid them. If a Black Knight drops a weapon do I need to actually drop it? Can I just store it in my bonfire box?
Hopefully just using a regular weapon will make a difference. I didn't get to play much co-op the first time I played the game, it's a bummer to be screwed over by a new system I didn't know about.

I've been able to invade pretty regularly in Sen's, Blighttown, and Anor Londo.
Actually just yesterday I got invaded and killed in Anor Londo. I happened to have an indictment on me (I'd actually never bought one before this play-through), so I indicted the invader, then tried using my Blue Orb. The first person I invaded was the player I had just indicted. So satisfying.
This is really annoying. I didn't realize they added the weapon matchmaking and now I can't get summoned to ANYTHING to get my 10th Sunbro medal. Only at 72 and have been searching around Pinwheel and O&S for a long ass time. Took a Quelaag's to +4 so I'm completely fucked it seems.
Soul level plus weapons, shield and pyro flame upgrade level affects matchmaking. Apparently, armor does not. For unique weapons, like BKS, just don't upgrade it then you can still play with people in the regular +0-5 range. Once you pick it up, the character is flagged so dropping it or depositing in the bottomless box won't make a difference.

D-oh!!! I didn't realize that they changed the match making system to DS3's! That explains a lot ... DAMN IT!
Most people finish it in the 75-100 range, I think. 50 is doable, but the higher your SL, the easier it can be since you'll be much stronger. If people can beat it at SL 1, then you can beat it at 50.
Looks like it. I basically don't get summoned anymore now. Which kind of sucks since this character was supposed to be a coop specific character. Oh well, looks like it's time to reroll. It's unfortunate the remaster uses such a broken matchmaking system.
I was making a str build and using big weapons and then found the falchion. Realised light weapons are much more fun to me and now I'm pivoting to dex half way through the game haha.
