The funny thing is that Pokémon Let's Go Eevee! is not even searchable on the website, so all preorders must have gone through bestseller lists like this and other lists, instead of through the search engine they use.
Anyway, sales predictions:
For 2018, I think it will sell 15M
For lifetime sales, I think it will do 20M

Yeah people really don't seem to understand how Amazon rankings work. As of right now it's not in the top 100 for yearly best sellers.
That will change of course and I'm sure this will sell extremely well, but these kinds of threads are a bit silly.
That one updates only once a day, and that time hasn't come around yet.
It's going to sell really well, but hourly rankings on Amazon are meaningless, especially for games that are recently announced. I wish people would stop using that chart.

Pokémon let's go won't sell near as well as the mainline games. Will still sell a ton like 10 million but people that think this is going to explode and sell 20 million are crazy

Also, is that the real boxart? That adorable giant eevee splashed on the cover makes it a monumentally more tempting purchase for me

Yup, that's the boxart they revealed in the reveal trailer. Should be the final boxart.
They'll market it as a mainline to the GO audience. It's gonna sale well.

Let's Go Eevee is also not searchable, so that's probably part of why it won't be no. 1 (besides Pikachu being the mascot of the entire series, of course).
It will sell well, but not better than the main games, it should sell better than any pokemon spinoff until now

It will sell more than other previous titles for sure: Everything is selling like crazy on Switch + it will bring Go users in.
True, it's not very indicative, just nice to see. The real test will be when the monthly and yearly charts update (which is in what, 4 or 5 hours? Not quite sure).
Depends on what you expect. Smash is at #44, and that should be a massive amount for preorders I think. Pokémon might go over it in the span of a couple of days, though, imo.
