Cause he's tryna imitate George MichaelTruth! I enjoyed 1989 a lot but man her latest isn't appealing to me so far.
Also why do I keep on forgetting that Sam Smith is 25 not 35... >_>
Sam Hunt's Body Like a Back Road sounds like it's directly emulating hip-hop productions. As far as I know, it's the most successful country song this year. My issue with this is the lack of avenues that are available to people of color in the country music industry, and how country music's demographics have the tendency to insult musicians of color. In spite of them insulting the musical productions of musicians of color, a majority of country music's audience seem to be accepting of similar sounding productions when it's filtered through the lens of a White man.I mean . . . are they taking the beats from actual rap songs or having rap producers? Or are they simply "talking and rhyming fast." Because that is not appropriating. In fact I think country rap has been going on for a while.
I mean lube is used for a lot of things . . .
And yes, I know lube is used for a lot of things, I was being tongue-in-cheek. I personally know about BAD's... [ r e d a c t e d ], so it was a fun poke that he's used to receiving.I just meant expect to get Fucked over. wasn't spreading his sexual preferences.

I've never failed at securing a day one delivery but that of course doesn't stop my fearsFrom previous years get your lube ready. I got my 7 Plust at like 3:20 AM after the site fucked up. I'm anticipating the biggest fuck up yet, but I'm percheD b/c if anything i'll just go watch the first episode of Stranger Things Season 2!
Agreed.
*fist bump*
Hm. Well at least she didn't give up on music like Marina and the Diamonds did.
nnnn dont do hitlor like thismarina and the diamonds is a socially adjusted human being who understands that good creative output takes time, and knows how to self-care instead of other pop 'stars' who just find whatever song someone wrote for them and shit out albums every other year
Not when Lust For Life was better hennyPeaked with ULTRAVIOLENCE. That was An Album. She's been on the decline ever since.
Anyway, I echo Bronx-Man, buy melodrama today.

Listening to that beat, I can definitely say that it sounds very hip-hop-ish with country overtones. However, I would argue that he mostly sticks to singing like the country boy he is. I think Jason Aldean's "Dirt Road Anthem," is more reminiscent of country rap than "Body Like a Back Road." I agree with you when it comes to people of color in the country music industry and how they should view that demographic better. I do think thought that there is a big different between hip-hop beats being used via rap and country because of the presentation. Although, yes I do not doubt that they would accept a white man doing a bigger variety of genre's than a person of color.Sam Hunt's Body Like a Back Road sounds like it's directly emulating hip-hop productions. YAAAS! Don't put women against each other!!
I will not and can not support the unmitigated blasphemy posted above. Lana Del Rey, our savior, is and forever WILL BE the artist of our time. She represents the modern contextualization of the beatnik movement and inspires us all to live our truths.
Quoted from 2017's Xanax-laced, trip-hop anthem Summer Bummer:
"It's never too late
To be who you wanna be
To say what you wanna say (tattoo on my face, swimmin' in my safe)
It's never too late
To leave if you wanna leave
Or to stay if you wanna stay (better not)
But, baby (yeah)
I got a feeling in my bones
Can't get you out of my veins (yeah, yeah)
You can't escape my affection (yah, yeah)
Wrap you up in my daisy chains (What? What? What? What?)"
Repent. Now.
rude is the best thing that has ever happened to popera community and that's that on that

I'm laughing so damn hard right now. 2015 didn't deserve the magnum opus that was EmotionWhen I saw Carly Rae on her B-Sides tour, she got up on stage and said she almost didn't make it because the entire tour forgot about her, took off and left her behind in Omaha. That is a perfect example of Carly Rae's life.
Kelly Clarkson omg
I've decided to add an epilogical chapter chronicling the fall of { r e d a c t e d } first. Afterwards, I plan on submitting it for peer review etc.rude: Did you ever finish your dissertation, sis? I'm percheD to read it.
Hi everyone! I used to be a lurker back in the old place and this community was one of my favorites. Glad it's back over here.
I'm not sure I have a fave anymore (Xtina is MIA and so is her album) but I like most singers. I've been into Ariana and Tove Lo these days, among pretty much all pop singers. Disco Tits is my jam.
