Wow you don't see that that often. Gattis drilled a ball foul that would have been gone if fair. The next pitch he drills one over left center.

The only good things in this was that Barlow pitched good once again and Whit had three hits. Rest of the pitchers were not good at all and the offense went 0-for-9 with RISP...

The Red Sox have two Cy Young winners going up against a couple of guys in their mid-30's this weekend so you have to like their chances to avoid an utterly humiliating 4 game sweep.

Fell asleep during the 4th inning. Only thing I missed was the A's piling on 8 more runs. Lol

The Arizona Diamondbacks are only the second team in MLB history to win 18 games in April, and lose 18 games in May.

I pray this team releases Alex Avila and puts John Ryan Murphy in the lineup 4/5 starts. Mathis takes the 5th start since he catches for Grienke. Avila has no business being on this team.

Just realized I'm going to see the Braves Monday night.

I'll have to wear my sunglasses at night so as not to be blinded by the baseball glory.

The Braves' TV ratings were higher in May than in any month in more than four years.

The team's telecasts on Fox Sports South and Fox Sports Southeast averaged a 3.22 rating for May in the Atlanta television market, the best since averaging a 3.43 rating in April 2014.

The Braves finished the month by drawing a 4.51 rating for Thursday night's win over the Nationals, the highest-rated Braves game since the first-ever regular-season game at SunTrust Park drew a 4.97 rating April 14, 2017. Wednesday's game against the Mets was the Braves' second-highest-rated telecast this season (4.36).

For the season, the Braves are averaging a 2.85 local rating through 56 games, up 43 percent versus the same number of games last year. The May ratings were up 84 percent versus May 2017.

The improved TV ratings reflect the Braves' rise in the standings. The Braves entered play Friday atop the NL East with a 33-23 record, their best record through May since 2013 and their second-best since 2003.

Yankees/O's game currently delayed due to impending weather. Forecast is calling for rain all day and night, and it looks to continue all day Sunday, putting that game up in the air too.

Is there a team that has more postponed games that the yanks this year? They have 5 games less than the redsox.
