808s & Heartbreak still the best Kanye West record.
I mean, we wouldn't have The Weeknd without it, so at least on some level I have to agree.

strange coincidence but it started snowing here today and i was listening to it pretty much the whole morning, it's the perfect winter album. definitely kanye's best album.

for me that's MBDTF. Everytime the beat on Gorgeous starts I'm like "that's winter"

Rediscovered Oneirology, close to a perfect album imo. Any opinions on the other CunninLynguists albums? Going to give A Piece of Strange a listen and the new album. They were in Brussels a week ago, shouldn't have missed that.

Thier whole discography is greatness. Oneirology and A Piece Of Strange are the best, but check out everything.

Also check out Niggaz With Latitude, Death Is Silent, Still Motion, and, Peace or Power. Duo/solo projects from them.

Apple Music people are hyping up a "Break the Internet" release tonight. I'm prepping for disappointment, but we could be feasting soon

Is anyone else listening to the Dissect podcast? Season 2 is on Ye's Dark Twisted Fantasy. Already one of my fav albums of all time, man this podcast is just making me view it in an entire new light.

Never heard of this before, but it seems pretty cool based on the description. Season 1 was on TPaB for anyone considering getting into the show.

Yep. Oneirology and A Piece of Strange are definitely great to start with. I'm not as hot on NWL as most people. It's worth checking out though.

I can't recommend this show enough. I listened to like 6 episodes today. How Ye made all of the lights, power, and devil in a new dress is just fucking awe inspiring.

I can't wait to dive into the runaway episodes tomorrow.

Recently discovered Westside Gunn via the recent tracks with DOOM. East coast, Wu-tang type stuff. This lead to me discover producer Daringer. Insane. Their styles mesh so well. I checked out FLYGOD and his mixtape with Ajax, Hall and Nash, Check it out if you're a fan of Wu-Tang, Sean Price. Get similar vibes. Anything else worth checking out?

I'm not buying the idea that Brockhampton are getting extra press due to Kevin Abstract being gay.

Lesbian, gay, and bisexual rappers who haven't received nearly as much coverage.

Migos are still doing numbers despite homophobic comments. Sometimes stuff you don't love takes off. No agenda necessary. I find Drake pretty bland. Didn't stop him from becoming one of the most relevant artist of the decade.
