Yes so happy to see AR Kit being used so far. Outside of fringe art demos I haven't seen much adoption hopefully this stuff actually comes out.

AR really is the future. Just imagine what this tech will look like 10 years from now.

Although I maintain that the future of AR is with wearable computing devices, like glasses. A few decades from now people will look back on demonstrations like this and laugh at how awkward it was to have to actually hold the computing device in order to experience AR.
This is Apple building a developer pool for when they eventually drop the ar glasses.
It is going to be HUGE.

This may be boring to you but AR is a huge deal for many developers and they're seeing updates to AR Kit they've been requesting for ages.

How about adding the function of actually being able to search through our Messages properly on iOS?

Apple has been and will be pushing AR very hard. You will be seeing more of it at every keynote.

The camera that was filming the two of them using the Lego AR on their ipads was able to obscure the 3D visuals behind their bodies as if it was really in front of them. I've never seen this before. Usually 3D visuals are overlayed over everything, breaking theimmersion.

They added vertical surface detection in ARKit 1.5 so I imagine it was part of that?

The machines was also really impressive. I tried it last year. Unfortunately i found it hard to play because i had to hold the ipad really uncomfortably for a long time

It's 10 billion requests because we have to ask seven times.

Get the accuracy to Google levels dammit.

Putting more of Google Photos features in the Photos app. That's a good thing. The sharing thing is pretty great. I like the whole knowing you were both at the same event feature. I don't think google does that.

For a company that just made fun of Android they sure a good at stealing Google's 4 year old ideas. LOL! At least google gives unlimited storage for photos.

Allowing custom user phrases for custom Siri app connections is a really awesome move. Way better than having to learn terrible developer stock phrases.
