Kind of the impression I got. I feel like that "NO!" slide will be made fun of years down the road.
Well, they've announced things at these before. I don't remember every year, but I feel like there has been hardware at the least three ones.Yeah, unless you are interested in software changes for WatchOS, iOS and OSX why would you tune in? hardware conference is in the fall.

Q1? No chance.Love the push for a better app ecosystem on Mac. 2019 though...better be Q1.
None of this is even remotely true.
"We're making it easier for developers to port iOS apps to macOS."
That's literally it. No merging.
I don't see how macOS getting apps from iOS is merging both operating systems.
Not quite, just not needed ATM. SE is already very speedy with current iOS and will be even faster this fall. The dream will only be dead if we don't get a 4incher by 2019.
watch people continue the merge bullshit narrative.None of this is even remotely true.

yeah, but it's fun to open for the three apps I need to update occasionally...Yea I'm confused by this. Isn't this... a good thing for developers? It means less work for developers. It can also lead to more content in the Mac Store which is fairly anemic atm.
Yes. After that announcement I knew I'm happy with WWDC this year. Best update in years.Mojave sounds great.
Best announcement was Google Maps support in CarPlay. Thank god, finally.
No. But it should be September shortly before the new iPhones arrive, as always.I may have missed it because I was listening at work, but did they announce a release time-frame for iOS12?

You know you don't have to customize it if you don't want to, right? Having more options is never a bad thing.I hope not. Springboard's staticness is a reason I switched from android.
expected but still sucks. will get a series 3 when the update comes, should be cheap by then.
What's your bet on a Fall presentations? Brief word on Mac hardware updates with the iPhone and iPad being the main show or a separate keynote? Or, heck, if updates are minor enough maybe just a press release?9/10 conference, minus one point for boring tvOS update, no iCloud feature changes, and no hardware (though I wasn't expecting any of that)
Being quippy and reductive makes you go viralI don't see how macOS getting apps from iOS is merging both operating systems.
You should have worked in a "this would never happen if Steve Jobs was still alive" to cap it off! That was the worst WWDC in years. I stopped watching it halfway through but my friend was texting me updates for the rest of it. Almost every "new" iOS feature was blatantly ripped off from Google and other Android phones, and presented as a brand new, never before seen features. It's even more insulting that Apple can't even be bothered to fix the basics as well (like Siri still barely working after seven years) It's sad that Apple don't innovate anymore, and that most of their recent "innovations" (no headphone jack, notched screen) are copied by every other phone company, leading to a less diverse and competitive market because every single phone looks like an iPhone. Maybe I don't want that on a phone just because Apple does it as well. If I did, I'd buy a fucking iPhone. (rant over)
Great updates to software all around (tvOS notwithstanding) but no announced changes to iCloud. More storage, sharing folders, etc
I think it will, once they go from one OLED model to three

Not sure if I missed it, but we didn't get any Apple Music updates either did we?
is walkie talkie only for Watch OS5?
I still rock my series 0.
That was the worst WWDC in years. I barely even watched half of it and I'm making up strawman arguments that suggest I watched none of it.
