Quick raid-related question. Some of my friends don't raid, but we are doing the first chest in the Leviathan to get them the powerful engram. If you've done the castellum on normal mode for the week and then re-do it in prestige do you get a second loot drop?

People were running the nightfall continuous for what 16 hours and Bungie decide to come up with oops sorry we messed up, don't worry we will sort it next week. That has to be an indication to not do long grinds for certain items. There is bound to be another problem affecting something else this week.

Yes. Prestige and Normal drop separate engrams.

Finished off The Tractor Cannon masterwork, then a few seconds later, the Crimson one drops. One of the few times RNG works in my favour.

What is the best way to find a group to get the Nighfall done? I haven't actually attempted one since Destiny 1.

What does the Nightfall card that Xur sells do for me?

It's really hard to find a good group to stick with.

No one wants to add you as a friend and run raids anymore. It's all LFGers and anti social dicks like Demi.

I usually just use the Find Fireteams thing in the companion app. The person setting it up sees your PSN name in the app and sends you an invite in game.

LFG is the fuckin best.

I wouldn't have 80 raid clears and quick clears on every weekly milestone if not for them. Clan homies that I started with back in October are sitting on < 15 clears lifetime. I'm done with 6x+ every week before 7pm on reset day.

I love playing with the clan, but trying to do so is akin to waiting for the weekly train to arrive. Long wait, and easily missed. LFG is calling an Uber.

Pretty sure D.A.R.C.I is at or near the top of the DPS slot for snipers right now. I use it and its pretty insane.

Also not that this means ANYTHING but I ran the heroic mercury adventure where you chase the fallen boss and there is a timer. I took too long and the event changed to just kill the fallen captain. Once I did I got two catalysts one from the chest and one from the reward.

Overall I'm gettin them D1 feels in many ways now.. Still has plenty room to improve, but outside of comp and trials I think the game is really lookin up.

I've slowed on getting calayst, hopefully I get a newer one soon here

game still lacks horizontal progression badly, random rolls and armor perks really helped with that in D1, if they bring those back then we will be cooking with gasoline

Finally broke my Catalyst cherry last night: Colony.

Not sure if the perk benefits in pvp since Power Ammo on maps only give 4 shells but at least it's a weapon that I regularly use.

I'm not giving up hope on getting VW's

I tested that for you this weekend. Blew through 1200 parts and got it on the last package as I ran out of parts.

Do you need a weapon to be in your inventory to get its catalyst? Or is it enough to have earned it and it's alright if it's sitting in your vault? I really don't wanna cart Coldheart around, lol.

All completed except Worldline. The only ones I looked for were Worldline Zero and a half-hearted attempt a Huckleberry (did maybe 9 heroic adventures runs, was going to quit while I was ahead because I really dislike doing heroic adventures).

guys is there a better time tracker site that tells me time played including orbit time in destiny 2 other than wasted on destiny or destinytracker? i dont think either tells me orbit time as well?

Finally getting the shotgun drop after 53 kills was one of my most satisfying Destiny loot moments. It's the D2 Gjallarhorn and worthy of the chase.

Your mileage may vary, and everyone says it doesn't work, but it worked twice for me with banshee.

At first i wanted manahan whatever it is Scout, I spent about 1500 parts on him one time, I gave up for a couple months, said screw it waited for it to show up on preview, I got it in 6 pulls.

Same thing happened with Antiope, though that one took 400 or so parts.

People said that about PS3/360 too. And will say it about PS5/NextBox. Funny thing about consoles is that 5 years after they launch their components always become shitty. As long as they keep releasing on PC and optimize for it there is no ceiling. Consoles will always have limiting factors. The way of the beast.

You're in for a serious disappointment if you think that's what's holding Bungie and Destiny back. It's not the CPU. The only improvement you'll see is higher framerate and some boosted visuals. Don't expect major gameplay overhauls or anything.

Also there's 0 chance of Bungie/Activision title set to a small opening install base with so many millions having PS4/Xbox. It's also iterative now due to X86. It's not the same as the different architectures we saw with 360/PS3 to Xbox One and PS4.
