I like 8 during outkast golden age, I like them alot but never understood the greatest of them.
I was around the same age when Stankonia dropped, but I catched up on the older albums too in my youth when I started getting music myself (s/o to those who still know Kazaa, BearShare & Co.). The Love Below was one of the most important albums of my life.
Nope, stopped fucking with her since Modest Confidence and the same for Reverie. Vel's last project was okay, but I used to fuck heavy with the other two especially Gavlyn's first two albums, but she completely changed her sound and I stopped since. It's been a common thing with some artists I started listening to around 2012/2013. I find them listen to their early stuff, but after a new album drops they change their sound up to sound more mainstream and it's trash and I stop listening to them after that.
Also had this really weird dream last night about a music artist.
I currently live in a shitty 4 apartments building that is right in the middle of a big upper middle class area. Today when i woke up someone was blasting XXXTENTACIONs look at me through the streets or their yard or something. fitting.
Also i showed my gf yung lean and she said he looks like the ugly bully kids in middle school. she's right.

I'm still kind of fucked up from my dream. The earlier parts of it I can't remember in detail, but I was with my mother and brother in some building. There was some black guy in the lobby with a cart that had a spritz bottle and several bottles of champagne and other alcohol. he was spritzing people that came in to get them sterilized or some shit. Mom went off downstairs to a dental office. I talked to the black guy, forgot what he said and followed my mother downstairs. Downstairs it was a dimly lit library. I found my brother among the books and that's the last I remember of that part. I was then at a college, a HBCU I think as I only remember seeing black people. There was some partying and shit and then there were a crowd of people gathering around something I saw a doppelganger of myself twice. My clone was wearing a blue top with matching basketball shorts and was with a group of these young dark skin guys in the parking lot. All of their cars were decked out in chrome.
I asked the person next to me "Do you see this?" and he remarked "Yeah duh, so what?" as if it was normal that I had a doppelganger. I approached my duplicate. She didn't say anything to me or really even acknowledged I was there, but she let me reach into her hair and stroke her soft dreadlocks. There was an oily residue on my fingertips.
"I needed to lay off just a little bit with the oil," I thought to myself.
It looked a party was about to start or they would just start playing music at least and I decided to head to nearby building on campus. The dusty brick walls made the place feel old. On my left I saw a large window that looked down into a room that resembled an auditorium. A music class was being held. I stepped inside and went into the back trying not to be noticed and sat at a desk. I thought to myself "This would be a great place to hide if I needed to." I then got up and left.
I saw something move on my right and R. Kelly walked in. My brain wasn't acknowledging how unusual it was that a famous R&B artist just walked in here, but I just kept going forward into a hallway. I stopped at the first door on the right where I saw a middle aged black woman arranging a plate of hors d'oeuvres. I felt R. Kelly's presence behind me. I walked into the room.
"Hi Ms. Ella!" I greeted.
"Hey baby. We're about to have a meeting in here in a little bit, but you're welcome to try a little bit of this."
"Thanks."
I grabbed a cracker, racked it in the dip and ate it. I thanked Ms. Ella again on my way out and continued down the hallway. R. Kelly was still behind me. A tune popped in my head and I said "Give it to me big papa." I suddenly felt R. Kelly's presence behind me again. I continued down the hallway and turned the corner on the right and found a dead end of locked doors. I turned around and saw R. Kelly was no longer behind me. I headed back the way I came and I suddenly felt him again and looked over my shoulder and saw him. I started running and he ran after me too.
"GET DOWN!" someone shouted.
I was confused in my situation and was looking for the shouter.
"GET DOWN!" the voice repeated and this time I listened to the advice.
I ducked, closed my eyes, and clenched my knees. I felt R. Kelly trip over me and a couple seconds later I heard a gunshot. When I opened my eyes and stood up I saw him sprawled on the floor with a hole in his neck and blood spilling on the floor. I looked past him and saw Ms. Ella standing outside her door brandishing a revolver. Before anything else happened I heard a doorbell and I was back in reality.

Cool it's a new Prefuse 73 album the music is rooted in hiphop. I always appreciate a producer who takes chances with there music Prefuse 73 albums always go somewhere different.
