Where did you get this ??? Looks waaay better than any armor i've seen so far
It the reward for finishing the phylakes quest. Yes, the one that involves killing level 40 mini-bosses. So by the time you get the armor, there is nothing to do with it. Because you've probably completed the entire game by then. But yeah, it looks awesome.

I admit I'm always a bit... miffed and yet amused, maybe? when I see complaints about "blurry textures" or whatnot, on a massively high-budget, jaw-droppingly beautiful AAA game rendered gloriously in 8k etc. I just think, "man, these people will never be happy". :P
Hey, I think the game looks amazing. But when you see stuff like I pointed out in the screenshot it's hard to imagine how much better it could look if they fix those little things here and there. That's all. The LoD is a mixed bag. Sometimes it's fantastic, sometimes it's dogshit.

It's a huge open-world game with cutting edge graphics for the most part. You're bound to find a few low-res textures or limitations here and there, that's the case for every game, even the best looking games of all time. I think calling this stuff "dogshit" is unfair, and calling them "little things to fix" borderline implies a "lazy dev" kind of argument which I find distasteful. I'm sure you don't mean anything like that, but it does come across this way sometimes.

Well, that's actually the common problem for every screenshot, if you start looking closely on them you'll always find some small flaws that doesn't noticeable without zooming. For example, those Wolfenstein 2 4K screens:

2D71D7F8042FFC4AD241B3FC25081CC63E005E74

They look more or less decent until you zoom in and see that fire effects are far from perfect, bullet is just some flat white sprite, puddles are blurry mess, and etc. There is no perfect screens unless you use image editors and manually fix them every time, but that doesn't mean that they look bad, 99% of those games looks amazing in motion.

In the north-west of the map this is more obvious.

How's Breath of the Wild running now with the latest Cemu?

It's pretty good with the necessary packs. Getting 35-50 fps on my stock i7 4790k and a GTX980. Surprisingly little to no emulation bugs, most of it works flawlessly. I'm not that encaptured by the game yet though, the lack of music and the generic narrative and quest design and open-world design by unlocking towers are a bit of a downer for me.

You've been posting some nice EW2 shots btw :)

Windows Defender does not seem to like Otis's camera tools. It keeps getting deleted until I turn defender off... grrrrrr. Otis, why you trying to install malware on my system?

:P

EDIT: Malwarebytes throwing it out too.
Till I've found your bank passwords, I'll keep doing that.

;)

It's likely because it's a known injector for dlls into processes. Thing is, if I write one myself, it will be picked up by defender as well I think (but dunno for sure, don't use win10) so it's of no use. If you mark it as safe, does that work? I see hatti uses his own injector lately (exe + dll in one), are those picked up by defender as well? I don't know if defender checks for whether an exe injects a dll into another running process (if so, any injector will be flagged) or that it only checks for known exes (like the injector I use) and flag those...

(edit) I'll see if I can whip up some simple exe so ppl can test that. It's really a couple of lines of code. No UI like with injector but that's not needed anyway: run exe, inject the dll done

Thanks for the update! Any chance we could get some info on Reshade and these Otis Tools people keep referencing. I found the Reshade stuff googling, but no luck on the Otis Camera Tools
Tools are all here: https://github.com/FransBouma/InjectableGenericCameraSystem. Follow the 'Cameras' folder or scroll down and pick the url from the list :) Most still work, not all.

I created my own injector for the cameras now. I created a test version for Assassin's Creed Origins: https://github.com/FransBouma/InjectableGenericCameraSystem/releases/tag/IGCSInjector_100

You have to copy the contents of that zip with the camera tools dll so it can find that dll. Just run that exe instead of the extreme injector's exe and it should work normally (it does here on Win8.1). Please let me through PM (so it doesn't mess up the thread) know if this works on Win10 and if defender messes things up still. Thanks for testing. If you don't trust exe's from random strangers (you shouldn't!), the source is here: https://github.com/FransBouma/InjectableGenericCameraSystem/tree/master/Tools/IGCSInjector (Win32 C++).

I've never had any trouble running your Tools. I Always put them as safe in my virus protection. And they are so people don't need to worry but i understand the people that don't trust these Tools.
