Crap. First Tanaka. Now Chapman too? I agree, probably not a good idea to pitch through it. Put him on the 10-day DL and give him 2 weeks off. I think we have enough arms in the bullpen to get by for two weeks.

Gleyber Torres or Miguel Andujar provided they keep up the production of course. the injury ghost of the Mets bit us, so in a sense they are the true winners.
I've said this before but I'd refrain from coronating Andujar until we see what his post-ASB numbers are like. I see him being found out like Judge was and not being able to adjust.

Yeah possibly. Or not IDK it's a tough division this year. We'll probably end up having to have some position players pitch or just start pulling fans out of the stands the way these injuries are piling up. :P
Nah. That's why they play 162 games: because it's obvious the Dodgers are way better than the rest of the division it just sometimes takes a long time to establish that.
Eh. The season is long on purpose. Once you get a big enough sample size the talent difference is going to be obvious.

Hey, is there a way to buy subscriptions to MLB.tv for next season? My parents are moving at the end of the fall and the only way my dad will be able to watch Yankee games is through MLB.tv so I was thinking of getting him a subscription for the 2019 season for Father's Day but I am wondering if that's possible right now.
That's if we have enough pitching to last the rest of the season.

Obviously Judge adjusted because he is *vomits* a great player. Judge in August was horrific.
That's my biggest concern. We let a bunch of pitchers go and never really upgraded or replaced them. Now look at us. Our bullpen is going to be bombed out and depleted by the end of the season.
as far as I know you can only gift subs to mlb.tv for the current season.
fathers day is usually the best time to sub, as typically they have the june price drop and then a 50% off sale on top of it so it ends up being $30 something for the rest of the season but if you want to get him a sub for the whole next season you will likely just have to remember next feb or so.
