We finally know where Dante's boots from DMC4 went

Props to Capcom though, it's crazy to see a mechanic that isn't a sex object like Square-Enix did with Cindy.

lol how can you say that with a straight face after posting that picture, I think she looks dope but its clear what they're doing there with her outfit

I at first thought this was DmC2 and was disappointed lmao, but then I saw it was Nero so I was hyped. I'm glad when rumor said DMCV would be "ambitious" that didn't mean some change in gameplay to more souls like. DMC gameplay looks intact, now hopefully Vergil is playable but the fact he probably ripped of Nero's arm makes him the bad guy? I totally thought this was going to happen though because how else would Vergil get yamato back?

A more modern haircut was the right choice...

It's the right choice when you're also completely changing the artstyle from something pretty anime, to more grounded and western.

Holy fucking shit can people stop calling this DmC 2 just because the art style is different.

You know what else had a change in art style? DMC 1 to DMC 3.

I think it looks dope, no lie. Not saying she isn't sexy, just that I find her to have a design that fits who she seems to be and what's her area of expertise. She seems to be a great character, honestly

She can have any tattoos she wants, none of her art is striking a sexy pose. It's hardly the focus of her design too.
Her design is an improvement for the Devil May Cry series, like 100%, but still has some those "definitely a female character designed by a team of men" aspects. Also remains to be seen how the camera and stuff frames her.

First Kenny Omega is Cody in SFV, now Cody is Nero and Jeff Hardy is Dante in DMC5. Capcom is all about wrestlers these days. Maybe they can get Silas Young to be Haggar in SFV. Maybe Rey Mysterio to be El Fuerte.

DMCV looks pretty cool. I don't mind the lack of red clothes.

I mean if they wanna make the game look more realistic sure, but why make Nero and Dante ugly? What purpose does it serve?

Nero looks so different and all of his charm are gone now, it's now just a generic white actor dude who looks like your average hollywood white guy, with a haircut that's so ugly you wonder if it's just a place holder.

The idea of Nero hanging out in a random garage only for Vergil to randomly walk in and hand him an L is hilarious tbh. That's Thanos levels of savagery.

The trailer was incredible. Character designs are better then I was expecting, and the gameplay? Just wow, oh how missed you DMC. Everything is going to be put aside when this releases.

I thought the game looked meh at first, but seeing it again in 1080p 60FPS sold me, Nero looks awesome, i love his new haircut, Og nero's design was way too similar to Dante's it was kind of hard to diferenciate them, the guy who took Nero's arm is 100% vergil and he is the big bad guy again for sure.
Dante's design is EXACTLY like DMC4 he just looks older because he has the silver beard with more details now and longer.
Overal i think this game is gonna be the best DMC.

Nero isn't ugly... He has a more modern haircut. Dante though, damn his face got hit with a brick as badly as Ken's did in SFV. Dante's face looks busted.
