I REALLY like her design.
The pose alone clearly gives away the differences between the two.
I'm hoping/sure we'll get poses like that from new girl. Would rather Trish/Lady be doing it though.

There's nothing to be concerned with since Itsuno is helping the ship- who cares if he's building off of both DMC and DmC if it turns out to be a good game. Some of you guys beed to try developing your patience.
This looks a lot better, watching it again. I think the most offensive thing about it, besides that horrible mechanic lady dialogue, was the music.

But no. I don't think Vergil is even be a big part of the story. I think they are going to keep his intentions a mystery. The new guy is going to be someone totally fresh.
She doesn't have ridiculous books nor is she showing off gratuitous cleavage. Her design is still a little silly but that's already a huge improvement.
Graphically it's supposed to be quite a bit better. Newer version of the engine, 30fps, smaller environments, so they went crazy on the detail.
Honestly my only complaint is that it looks so similar gameplay wise to the past games. I was ready for a bigger departure on par with God of War after how long this series has been around.
But it's way too early to say at this point. I'm hoping the stuff outside of combat is very different with a lot more exploration and hopefully some interesting light platforming.

Some guys/gals are really into all of those things. She's not as bad as Cindy, but she's absolutely meant to be attractive. Like, would a normal mechanic wear that outfit?

Maybe it's because of where I grew up, but women dress in shorts like that all the time here (Texas). Is it the midriff which is supposed to be tantalizing? I'm not seeing it. And yeah, a whole lot of cleavage is pretty much the go-to when it comes to sexy-ing up designs.
3 and 4. If you want to check out DmC, you can, but don't expect the same level of combat.

The stories in the game are corny nonsense. And DMC 1 and 2 are bad games. I would just play 3 and 4 and read summaries of the first two games.

dante on a motorcycle is reminiscent of Dante in DMC2 where he went to hell on a motorcycle.
This looks fucking awesome and it definitely was a surprise because I really didn't expect to see it during the Xbox show anymore. Also no exclusive whatsoever, so fantastic news for ALL gamers!
None, the story of the series is bad with very little when it comes to world building along with a ton of gary stus and anime cliches. The main draw was always the gameplay.
Fair to say it's Vergil without much doubt.
