I'm only a few mins in but...man, this is one of the most incompetent shoot outs I've seen.

edit - I like how they've gradually started to add color to the show lol.

Really cool episode. I was half expecting them to see a zombie Madison when they got to the stadium. Got deep fried zeds instead. That was good stuff.

Really like this season.

Decent episode, not as good as some others in this season I thought. The part where Madison and her kids basically flipped sides felt forced to me. Madison telling them they're going to take Mel in and help him, and Nick kinda being like - no way we aren't helping this guy - then when Madison sends him off and Charlie is upset Nick is like - we have to go help him. I can see Madison's change of heart as she's been having doubts and seeing Naomi second guessing their situation tipped the scales, but just didn't get why Nick and Alicia would decide to go out in the middle of the night to save Mel. :/ Shouldn't have gave that dang kid a walkie talkie lol.

Anyway I like where the episode landed, seeing the burned up stadium was cool, and it looked like some really good work on the charred walkers. It will be interesting to see Madison's fate, I'm leaning towards her being dead, but maybe she's so traumatized by what happens to the stadium she pulls a Naomi and goes off by herself.

Gun battles in TWD universe continue to be dreadful. The dudes popping in and out of cover in the same exact spots was straight looking like bad AI in a video game.

Good to know years after the world ends, ammo still wont be an issue. You would think it would become hard to find at some. Everyone shooting for days.

Love this season so far. My TiVo recorded the preview and it appears to have a huge spoiler, so watch out.

I'm really looking forward to the mid season finale. They've built up this stadium falling so well (the Madison-going-out-to-save-her-kids last shot of this episode was great).

It's gonna be great fun.

Man, living in the city where they film makes it hard to avoid spoilers.

Very good episode. The last half was similar in tone to when Negan and the Saviors cornered Rick's crew in the TWD Season 6 finale and the last shot was similar to when Rick was surrounded in the tank in the TWD pilot.

Really nervous for this mid-season finale!

I really hope Madison is okay.

I don't know if I could deal with it after losing my bb Nick. :(

I really hope Madison bites the dust - for me that would make an amazing mid-season season finale.

Edit: that major villain shot of Alicia haha.

I hate Alicia so much

Well, maybe the whole main cast. Nick was coming around before he died though.

I wonder if we're actually going to find out if Alicia is right tonight or not.

Edit: goddamnit. No body yet though, but damnit. What will Talking deem it—death or undetermined?

I don't believe it—they didn't see it happen.

I suppose that'd be too much like Daniel's escape though.

That's what I'm thinking/hoping. :/ And we as the viewer didn't see a body/no one found it at the stadium when they went in at the beginning, etc.

Yes, it might be weird to have her come back, but I could see her crazy survival instinct kick in after we saw her and she managed to fight her way out and will show up later.

I dunno if she's actually gone... I guess we will see what Talking Dead says...

I was calling for this last season. She had to go.

You called it.

I'm actually looking forward to Alicia's growth now that her mom is gone (and obviously Nick) and not there to hold her hand and tell her what to do. She is her own person now. Losing Nick the way we did was a giant surprise (it was not ruined for me), and with the awesome additions to the cast I'm hopeful and I'm immensely looking forward to the 2nd half of this season.

Has a show ever done a shake up this big this early on his run?

Now only 1 main character from S1 remains...

Man, according to Talking Dead she didn't ask for this like Tom Riddle did :\

If Madison really is dead (even with Talking Dead and all the Instagram stuff, I don't fully believe it. We didn't see her die and other shows have tried to pull similar stunts like this before) then that is an extremely bold move as she was basically this show's Rick. And what a great way for her to go out - very fitting for her character's arc.

(Madison was always my least favorite main character. I never really liked Kim Dickens in the role and always thought she looked constipated)

If she is alive, then that's a really stupid stunt - one which retroactively renders a good portion of the first half of this season inert. We'll see what the show looks like come August.

Wow, didn't think they'd actually kill her. I don't see them pulling it as a fake out either given they already did that once. Though give it awhile for more showrunners to cycle in and they could always change their minds lol Still, pretty great first half to the season, and I like most of the new cast they added. Sucks having to wait for the back half.
