Hahaha. I love disconnecters, they make me laugh.I hope all your stats are re-allocated into Resistance upon return when you are a DCer/quitter after getting invaded.
You're using the pillars to separate yourself from them, right? If Ornstein attacks me, I usually stay behind a pillar and try to bait Smough to get into a more advantageous position for me. Just make sure you're not physically hugging the pillars so their weapons hit you through them. As for Super Ornstein, I just roll towards most of his attacks. Roll away twice when you're sure its the spear attack that grabs you. Hug his legs and stay behind him. Not locking on can help with positioning. What weapon are you using? Anything that causes bleed can help.
Does PvE sin carry over? Should I kill all NPCs right before going to NG+? Getting mixed messages from google.
Are you fast rolling?Yeah, that's pretty much what I'm doing. I don't think I'm doing too little damage. It's the small mistakes when evading Ornstein that foil my tries. They sure punish those hard.
Yeah I got a kindled bonfire I'm using.
LMAO.

Just lost like 90K souls because I got sloppy and got stunlocked by like 5 bonewheel skeletons. Deeeeeeeeeeep breath. Guess I'll camp outside a boss door for a while to earn back everything I lost. After some whisky however...
Last night I lost 300k and 8 Humanity to the Pinwheel cosplayers outside Nito.
Good thing I was on my 3rd glass of bourbon by that point. I wasn't even mad.
slow clapBought it today and I got bored after an hour. I put over 100 hours on BB and DS3. I just can't get used to the slow and clunky gameplay of 1.

I don't know man I guess I got spoiled since I played those games first. This just feels super slow to me. And feels dated. It's pretty easy though I beat the first two boss and up to the dragon. Compared to bb or ds3 it's much easier in the beginning. I have died legitimately once. All the others I fell from the wall or didn't notice the dragon breath.
Yes, it is slower and older but you 'aint seen nothing yet' . It is worth the effort to go though, but I would say take your time, explore, and don't use a guide. this is one of the best games of all time, but a big part of it is not being spoiled. I'm confused. I got to a part in Darkroot Garden or whatever where 4 NPC characters hanged up on me, including sorcerers and knights and translucent guys. Did I screw something up and this is the forest hunter covenant after me? I wanted to talk to the cat that lets me in the covenant, but these dudes are wrecking me. Tell me I don't have to go pay for absolution when I never betrayed anyone in the first place.
I was entering the ladder way, but never saw Alvina. Hmm. Maybe I should look up where he/she is.They're always hostile the first time, don't worry. The only way to not aggro them the first time is if you enter through the other path, via the ladder near the hydra, and reach Alvina from the other side. If you used the Crest of Artorias and enter from that door the first time, those hunters will attack you. Kill them, then talk to Alvina. They'll respawn (except those using the Ring of Fog for some reason) and won't be hostile anymore.

The bonfire is right after the third and last set of blades. This set is the trickiest, it looks like you have to rush past in 1 go but actually there's enough room to pause after the first set.Right. I need a break.
I've been getting knocked off the ledges in Sen's Fortress by the giant blades so many times now that I could... I could... hnnggGGNNNGGG!

I had to ask on here where it was. That drop is very easy to miss.Make sure to look extra carefully for that bonfire. It's easy to miss it (like I did on my first playthrough )
Going through it again, I am realizing how annoying the long route into Blighttown is.
I'm a first timer here and I hated that part more than anything, even worse when you can't fucking see anything.Going through it again, I am realizing how annoying the long route into Blighttown is.
It sometimes follows your location and sometimes doesn't. Just accept that it often will and you'll be ok. Lore reason: It's magic.how does the contraption in Sen's Fortress keep getting reset even after I move the switch to a different position?...it should stay where I set it...

Invaded someone last night who had a phantom summoned. Proceeded to kill the phantom and then chased them round Anor Londo. After a while, he summoned another phantom - who I killed as well. (I'm not great, just got lucky.) Then got the message that he had disconnected from the world.
Of course it happened then...
The invasions in this game are extremely annoying, as I knight build I am constantly invaded my magic users who just one-shot me. Yep, that's it.Is this the route coming from the Depths?
I've never played the game before until the remaster, and if this is the above route, I'm currently slogging my way through this route through Blighttown. It's made me take a little bit of a break from the game.
It's annoying when I need to buy items and I need to go all the way back. One feature from the other DS games and BB that I miss. You have to go get the Lordvessel before you can teleport between bonfires :/
