Fortnite for Nintendo Switch releases tomorrow (2.0 GB)

The full game and metadata has now been uploaded to the Nintendo eShop, has a release date for tomorrow. Looks like it only includes the Battle Royale mode.

The game doesn't have the usual "online multiplayer will be free until the Nintendo Switch Online service launches in 2018" disclaimer so it seems like you won't need to be subscribed to Switch Online to play.

Usually you can't play online only games without firmware updates.

I mean it's an entirely online game, so I would assume yes you actually need to be on the latest firmware to play it.
