There are differences between disagreeing with points raised and outright dismissal of one's opinions. If somebody come in here just to tell us that our feelings are wrong (usually because it's not a problem for them and therefore shouldn't be a problem to anybody else), are they really interested in a discussion? Not sure really what to make of that, but my first reaction was "really!?"
Some people were referring to her as 'Cindy done right'.
I must say, I really like her, but that has little to do with the sexiness... it's just that if you give a character glasses, I can't not appreciate. Don't know if it could be called a fetish.
Now I want to see AAA gay men kissing. I wonder when we'll ever get that. :DAAA lesbian kissing and Kojima game where only men and babies are naked while women look cool. Unbelievable.
Give society 40 years or so to make straight guys not feel threatened by gay men expressing their sexuality... Imagine a timeline where they're as "marketable" as lesbians :/A Kojima game with normal, clothed women? What timeline is this? o.O

In AC:O you have the option to be into men as well as into polygamy. The romance options are the same for both Alexios and Kassandra. Now I want to see AAA gay men kissing. I wonder when we'll ever get that. :D

Yes, but you could also do that in Bioware games too no? They're gonna be optional too. I meant, putting a trailer of a massively AAA game and showing a male gay kiss in it like that. I'm not expecting this any time soon but I hope to be wrong. In AC:O you have the option to be into men as well as into polygamy. The romance options are the same for both Alexios and Kassandra.
In every Bioware game, some characters are always locked depending on what gender you choose. Oh absolutely, didn't mean to imply it wasn't a big deal. To be honest I didn't expect that kiss at all for these same reasons. While a lesbian relationship may be more "tolerated" than a relationship between two men, if you look around at some reactions to this reveal you'll see that it's not something that some are okay with. ND showing that front and center is a pretty brave move. As sad as that sounds.
Obviously TLOU2 isn't the first instance ever, but this is more about how Sony and ND decided to showcase it to the whole industry during the biggest gaming event in the world more than anything. Not to discredit ME either, but lesbian romance there is an option whereas here it's "canon" and part of the main narrative.Mass Effect 2 had already two women kissing years ago and actually even having sex

KH3 trailer nearly ended on a male gay kiss. Riku was definitely giving Replica the "fuck me" eyes.

It's been a progressive day.

There are a couple key differences here. One is that this was presented during an E3 conference. It actually kicked off their E3 conference. They put a same sex kiss front and center in their E3 conference. The other, and possibly more important point, is that Ellie's gay. You can't make her like dudes like you can with a Mass Effect character. There's no romance system that lets you pick who you want to date, whether they be male or female. In other words, if you're someone that's homophobic then you can't run away from that aspect of her. It's part of who she is.
Yes, this is definitely something I am happy about as well.I also love that they seem to be making Ellie explicitly gay. I mean, I'm a bi woman and even I got a little of all the "but Ellie could like boys too!" posts
Yep, that's really quite wonderful. Is this the first AAA game to show an explicit same-sex relationship at the forefront of its marketing like that? If so, congrats ND on breaking ground and leading the way forward towards LGBTQ representation. They put a same sex kiss front and center in their E3 conference.
I'm not sure- I took those from the Japanese site, but am sure we'll find out soon.
They are still thereActually, what did they do with the heels? Remember the difference between Zero Mission and Other M?
Left is Smash 4, right is Switch.
I want this, but at the same time I don't want him to have moves referencing Sticker Star or Colour Splash.
I'd be fine with literally every character returning except ZS Samus, but that's an okay compromise, I guess.
I'm (very) cautiously optimistic after watching the trailer for Fire Emblem: Three Houses- there's a distinct lack of combat lingerie so far! Still, with a largely unseen and inevitably wide cast, there's still time...
The lack of armour, collars, and military braid and epaulettes reminds me of 19th century uniforms, while the art style reminds me a bit of Persona.
Actually, maybe they remind me of the SMTIV gang while I'm thinking of Atlus. Maybe it's the collars or the use of the primary colours to distinguish them? Isabeau from SMTIV:
I'd be surprised, but I'm hearing people say it's Shigenori Soejima. I suspect that it's still Kozaki and Kusakihara though.I really like the designs. And of course, the overall artstyle. I'm pretty curious to see who's the artist. It's much better than Kozaki was, even if I liked him.
I think I like the new Zelda look in Smash Ultimate. She looks happy and a bit more expressive. Her previous look was a little too cold for my personal tastes. What do you all think of her? I also like the vambraces more than the long gloves I think. Colour stands out a bit more too.

I just took it as them pointing out that hey you can finally play as female Pikachu and Leaf. Something I've wanted ever since the lead up to Smash 4.And I've agreed with a lot of her stuff from Tropes vs Women and the like, but this just seems a bit condescending and obnoxious. I just wonder if it really came off that heavy handed for other people (namely women) too.
Actually, in DA2 every romance was bi. They went back to gender gating romances in DAI as they found it took about the same resources making 4 bi romances as making 6 different gated romances, and they felt making their characters be straight only, or gay , or lesbian, or bi, or pan, meant they were able to write characters more freely as it were? It led to Dorian as a character, and making him a bi character would have taken away from his story so I think the tradeoff was good.In every Bioware game, some characters are always locked depending on what gender you choose.
