Same trailer but they swapped out the controversial stinger for new, safer footage. As I suspected.
I love Catherine but idk if it's just a bad trailer but this new version looks way more focused on sexuality than horror. Not really liking what I see tbh.
Elaboration please? What was the stinger in the first one?
Was the first game marketed as horror? Pretty sure the main theme always revolved around elements of sexuality and relationships. Hell the marketing campaign was asking couples if they want to get married and their thoughts on it.
If you have it you should definitely finish it. Great game. It's not too long, either.

For context, the final bonus stage was bugged in the US version with the bottom falling off at a far more rapid pace than intended. This was never patched. The video above is way beyond what I expected to be possible.

First game definitely focused on the supernatural elements as much as the sexual, if not more
ATLUS has demonstrated that they aren't able to handle LGBTQ issues respectfully.
In fact, I have a feeling that they will handle this with the opposite of respect.

I mean the fact that they advertise Rin(we can probably expect art of Persona Ren dressed as them BTW) as a love interest would suggest that there's probably an ending where you end up with them.

It's Japan, they don't have too much respect for the LGBT community, not saying they ''disrespect'' the LBGT community, I'm just saying they don't have too much respect.
I really hope they still plan on releasing it on Vita in the west. If not, it'll be a pass from me.
It would be a screw up to release it for Vita. The console is dead and Sony will be burying it shortly.

The Persona Dancing titles are coming West on the Vita, but their digital only I believe. So they'll probably do the same here.
Sailor Moon had respectful queer and trans characters back in the 90s. I think this is on ATLUS more than anything.
