I actually like the cover for Battlefield V as I think it's pretty cool and badass.

My grandmother did intelligence work for the Allies during WWII, it's how she met my grandfather. Both of them and their infant son (my father) were part of the Berlin air lift. Both grandparents have passed now, but fuck these assholes fighting against women in a fucking video game, in a theatre of war they were actually in. I have never played or bought BF games, but I will buy this out of sheer spite.
It's super frustrating to see to see people shitting on the game for having women in it (/r/battlefield can say what it wants. There's a certain tone to a lot of those posts asking to straight up remove women from the game). That being said, I think that the "what about my daughter" spin isn't the right direction to take the messaging.
It's more something the line of, "something something I can't identify with someone who doesn't look exactly like me something something".

Anyone who is looking for "historical accuracy" in a game with bionic prosthetics has instantly revealed that they don't actually care about historical accuracy.
