Not sure if it is thread worthy given the little information but I thought some might be interested in some life signs of the game

Cygames showed members of the press an early gameplay video of Project Awakening, its 2016-announced "high-end console" game

The gameplay video, which is one minute long, features detailed, photo-realistic ruins and a fighter armed with a sword and shield, who encounters and battles a dragon. Cygames said that it represents a game far from completion, as the team has mainly been at work on the concept and engine, and for that reason it will not be released to the public.

Cool but I was hoping for then to show a new trailer for Granblue Fantasy Relink along with a realese date.

Nice, I'm excited. I too would have liked to see more about Granblue Fantasy Re;Link, I need that one.

Meanwhile, it's rumored that Nomura showed new footage of FFVII-R on his phone (briefly) in one of the conference restrooms, before returning the phone to his pocket.

Ah, I'm still looking forward to seeing what quality of games Cygames can put out on consoles. I'm guessing nothing will be seen of this for a while though. Hopefully there's more info or footage of Project Re:Link in the coming year.

From that description I assume it's action combat.

Definitely been a while since we've heard anything about this title. I don't think their granblue game is releasing this year anymore.

So hyped for this and Granblue Fantasy. I'm thinking 2019 for Granblue and 2020 for Project Awakening. I hope they show some new footage at TGS this year.

I was certain we would hear something about Granblue this year, it's been two years since the announcement.

We got that big gameplay reveal months back so by now the game should be pretty far done.
