The director confirmed that yeah. Post was in the previous discussion thread, from a famitsu interview I think.

I'm glad it's being toned down to look more natural, but... did people seriously think the breasts would not move, like... at all?
Everywhere you could think, people claiming to be long-time fans and talking about the toned down sexualization and shit. I don't really care, but if these people really were fans of DOA, they wouldn't have said anything since we've been through this before for vanilla DOA5.I'm glad it's being toned down to look more natural, but... did people seriously think the breasts would not move, like... at all?
Right now, I'm more curious how they explain
Right now, I'm more curious how they explain
how she survived that lab explosion.
I think they kinda messed up the reveal a bit in that regard and funnily enough put more focus on the fanservice or lack of than if they had just been more straight forward about it. Something along the lines of
"We want a more serious approach for the story and overall presentation of the game but of course the large portion of our fanbase who enjoys the more fanservicy aspects won't be disappointed as alternative non story costumes ranging from cool to sexy will of course be included"
"We want more realistic physics for this game that aren't quite ready yet, that's why at the moment there is no jiggle present. The final game will allow you to toggle between no jiggle or our improved more realistic one"
would have gone a long way avoiding some of the backlash and discussion
Now they basically had to do what they probably wanted to avoid with this kind of reveal. Talk about jiggle physics at e3 in an interview on twitch

It hasn't been shown, but apparently she does. The costume was confirmed in the Twitch interview, posted above.
Here's the full answer. They also confirmed minor clothing destruction like rips and stuff. Probably along the lines of the Arkham games.Anyone have a link to this twitch interview talking about physics by the way?

In concept, I like the bodysuit costume; in execution, I agree it kinda sucks. Admittedly, what I'd want would be a bit more pervy, while one assumes it was designed with the game's tamer focus in mind. It'll be interesting to see how the OG costumes is handled.
I'm sure jiggles and sexiness are still in the game. They are just hiding it now for marketing purposes. They did the same thing with DOA 5 only to bring back sexiness in DLC and subsequent versions. They need sex to sell all their overpriced DLC outfits. They are probably just keeping things serious and toned down to attract the hardcore FGC until the game launches.
XD I knew it!Jiggle confirmed
It is obviously not in the current build so I guess they will add it later
You're right. It probably has to do with esports than the FGC. DOA5 will never be big in the FGC due to its gameplay and I honestly don't have a problem with that. Its gameplay is one of its greatest strengths IMO.The FGC don't care much one way or the other about the fan service, toning down those aspects being more about being presentable from an eSports perspective. It's the gameplay that the FGC don't care for, which hasn't changed significantly enough to appeal to them based on what's been presented so far.
Original DOA5 reveal trailer, eerily similar to DOA6 reveal in tone...
XD No hint of sexiness and we know what happened after the game launched.
We'll probably get something similar once we get closer to DOA6 launch. XD It's still too early to market the sex appeal.True, but to be fair this was advertised as a preorder incentive:
And this was bundled (and, once again, marketed) with special edition at launch:

This is pretty much the same thing, so here you go. https://www.gameinformer.com/e3-201...-on-de-emphasizing-the-sexiness-of-the-seriesThanks, that sounds cool. Looks like that video was removed though, at least for me in the US. (That twitch link works though)

Honestly the best news I have heard with this game yet. Now if only Honoka could be the same way...
Please no. She's awesome. :(
Asia again in some months :p

There again, not surprising but good to have a confirmation. It hasn't been shown, but apparently she does. The costume was confirmed in the Twitch interview, posted above.
The modelling of the male form is of the utmost importance.Lol, that reminds me that Zack doesn't have a navel. I wonder if all the male character models won't have one. That would look so weird, especially in speedos, and would imo be a very weird decision. Though Team Ninja also decided to give Jecht no nipples in Dissida...
Just you wait. My agenda is just getting started.
Kasumi has larger than average breasts, especially by her genetic standards, but they certainly aren't huge in this case. Especially not when SCIV exists.I'm confused as to what universe a slender ninja with huge breasts in a skin tight leather suit would be "removing sexiness."
This isn't directed at you, just at the general sentiment regarding this game.
I agree with the first part. That's pretty much what SFV did. Default costumes and animations are safe for a wider eye, but get deeper in and you find the cheesecake (and beefcake).I think they kinda messed up the reveal a bit in that regard and funnily enough put more focus on the fanservice or lack of than if they had just been more straight forward about it. Can somebody explain how this worked in 5? Is it tied to health, just getting hit gradually, or level-based like SC?Here's the full answer. They also confirmed minor clothing destruction like rips and stuff. Probably along the lines of the Arkham games.
I'm always in the shadows, waiting to strike.
One strong enough hit regardless of health, as with a Critical Burst leading to a stun. Two states, clothing either damaged or not damaged. Nothing particularly complex. Can somebody explain how this worked in 5? Is it tied to health, just getting hit gradually, or level-based like SC?
