Man, I am ecstatic that this is doing so well. It being on Hulu means it will also do pretty decent number in the online space as well.

My wife and I liked the very first episode and will likely continue for at least a few episodes to see if it "clicks" for us.

Starting the series now, don't think I've seen refs this bad since the nfl replacements. The dude was straight getting mugged and not a single call lol. Opening was pretty good.

This show has some crazy imagery. This episode has been pretty solid. They're doing a good job developing these 2 as people before going full on superhero.

Yeah, I just wanted to get an OT out because there wasn't one. I'll add some character descriptions here either tonight or tomorrow.

This episode was solid, and had some pretty dark imagery in both visions, which was great. Most of it was setup though so I cant completely say how I feel about it. I'm glad that Tandy and the cop are talking and the two kids met up at the end. Next week will hopefully get some more solid discussion on what is actually happening.

Finished the three episodes up on the Freeform site, I'm liking it so far. The leads are doing a great job and really carry the whole thing. Show sure does like to pack on the licensed music though

Tandy and Tyrone learning they have to stop the cycle thru their superpowers.

SMH @Tandy's attempted rapist getting off thru the cop who killed Tyrone's brother.

Tyrone got that curly hair girl feeling him, bruh getting voodoo baths and everything. Her aunt 3D printing an action figure of him though..

I like the visions in third ep, but I hope they are not a common thing. I hope they don't turn Evilta into the psycho chick.

I saw this over here on Amazon Prime and watched it going in blind knowing nothing about it. Thought it was decent - enough that I'll watch more to see where it goes.

Yeah it's a solid enough episode, but feel like we shouldn't be waiting 4 episodes for them to finally start discussing this

It's seriously one of the worst seasons of any show I've watched in years. They came up with a setting and a goal and nothing else in between. Every character wasted, nothing creative like season one. Just endless Philosophy 101 BS that ultimately has zero purpose or connection. You could reduce the season to four episodes and not miss a single interesting moment.

Edit to add:sorry for derailing.

Cloak and Dagger is highly promising at the moment, hope it keeps momentum up.

Yeah let's get back to Cloak and Dagger, there's barely any discussion to begin with for this show on here.

This episode was great, and I love the slow pacing and that it's taken this long. Loved the visions as well, was a really good insight. I like that the officer wanna help Tandy but really she's fucked too for having stabbed the guy.

Tyrone probably not gonna do well himself either with this voodoo lady having some plan for him since she 3D printed a figure of him. This show is so much New Orleans I'm loving it.

Looking forward to next week when Tandy and Tyrone start figuring out all of this stuff.

This show is really good. Episode 3 made good use of New Orleans as a setting. The trolley, the graveyard, and the voodoo house all oozed with atmosphere.

Next week they need to start giving us some answers, show them together and give us more of the villain.

Anyone else watch the after-show after each episode?

They have the show runner and some of the actors on the show:

Yeah they really did make good use of New Orleans and its setting. Very well done.

This is sweet:

So that entire scene were Tandy is sitting in the bus, to having her whole vision, to being back at the bus was one big shot:

Joe Pokaski also shared this piece of art:

And here's a new interview with Aubrey Joseph aka Tyrone:

Btw, notice how the aunt said to Tyrone he could either take a bath or she could give him a concussion. It all comes full circle. Tandy got a concussion from the car crash and got her vision in the bus. Tyrone took the bath and got his vision there.

Also, Benedict Cumberbatch was mentioned by name in the premiere. And Tandy was wearing a shirt with a Marvel band that will likely turn up later in the season.

I feel like Joe Pokaski is turning into the real deal. His doing great with this show, and there's so much to gather from the visions alone.

Oh yeah, and a shout out to the awesome music again!

I love these visions and how they contrast their characters. Tandy seeing Tyrone's hope of his brother staying with him, while Tyrone sees Tandy's fear of losing her father to Roxxon. There's a lot of symbolism in this show. Like when Tyrone picks up the handcuffs, it's a sign they'll need O'Reilly for help.

Who were the most memorable Cloak & Dagger villains in the comics?
I dunno about most memorable, but I hear they could use Jericho Drumm aka Brother Voodoo, or Mayhem. That said, I'm not sure one should expect much villainy though, other than the rapist and cop. Roxxon and maybe the aunty too.

Goodness me, I think there's a fight going on between the Shadowhunters and Cloak and Dagger fanbases on Twitter lol. Oh the drama.

The music for Episode 3:

Three episodes in, solid so far, hopefully the pace picks up in the next couple episodes.
Next week should hopefully be were it picks up a bit, with Tandy and Tyrone exploring their powers together. And who knows what we're up for after that.

Wow, Emma Lahana (officer O'Reilly) has really done some thorough research on the NYPD for the character. Since O'Reilly is from New York, and has only now come to New Orleans, and Tandy is her first case. She has also been a ballet dancer for 30 years so she's kind of Joe Pokaski's wingman. For example, the little girls in episode 1 were tying their ribbons the wrong way and Emma had to correct them lol.

Also there's an exclusive sneak peak at Episode 4 at 28:04 in the after show.

Really liking the show so far. The visions were to me kinda weird in the beginning but it kinda clicked in the third episode and I really liked them. The show got some real potential

Just saw the episode. This is how you're supposed to develop your characters, Marvel TV. It doesn't feel too slow or too fast and nothing feels forced. Everything flows. Loving this season so far.
