Maybe Aisha Tyler is about to get a lot busier. Or have Yvette Nicole Brown take over if she wants it because she's always a great guest on those shows.
I'd say Talking Dead will continue with a new host, as far as I can tell Hardwick doesn't have a financial stake to complicate things, but Talking with Chris Hardwick? I'd say it's dead.

Wow Goliath s2 is out, I didnt even know. my free time this week is now committed to it.
Is this worth checking out?

My parents are looking for a new show after finishing The Americans, and they're both fans of ol' Billy Bob

Might try Cloak and Dagger with them, but I'm not sure if it's closer in tone to DD/Punisher or the sillier AoS. They both enjoyed the former shows, not so much the second.

Yeah, his new show is from his own production company (Fish Ladder) and that shit is probably dead. I was really looking forward to this weekend's Donald Glover one too. :(

I've only watched the first two episodes (third was last night) and it's closer to the serious Netflix shows.

Sounds like Luke Cage S2 is also miss, which is a damn shame. What the hell is going on over there?

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Netflix doesn't fuck up on Punisher

Sounds good

What is going on over there is that they are creating some of the best comic book shows.

Luke Cage S2 doesn't sound bad though. Villain seems to be better as well. I've been greatly enjoying that these Netflix shows has 13 episodes and had a slow pacing.

Let's just say someone clearly changed the snacks in the writers' room over there, because to say Luke Cagehas upped its game for its second season is putting it really mildly. I don't remember the last time I saw a TV show take this huge of an artistic leap from one season to the next.

The writing is so. Flipping. Good.

Here's the relatively un-spoliered upshot of what you can expect from Luke Cage Season Two: A razor-sharp wit. Amazeballs performances by every single recurring actor. Fabulous pacing. A really scary villain (Bushmaster, played by Mustafa Shakir).

This reviewer says it best:
Here's the bottom line — if you're still watching all of these Marvel / Netflix series and you're a dyed-in-the-wool fan, then Luke Cage Season 2 will give you more of what you're used to. If you didn't like Luke Cage Season 1, I don't think you'll really care for Season 2, but overall it is a stronger story. So if you were ok with Season 1 but are hoping that Season 2 improves, you should feel pretty satisfied by it.

I really feel like at this point people should know what they are in for. And if you're not a fan of the Netflix shows then maybe one should stay away as it isn't for you. I'm gonna scream if somebody comes into the OT and still shouts the pacing is a problem, when as a fan it isn't a problem at all. If you're a fan and loves these shows, then Luke Cage S2 will probably deliver more for you.

Wait, where are you getting this? The IGN review is bad, for sure, but most other reviews I'm seeing are mostly positive with a few mixed.

There seems to be a "it starts slow" narrative but that it's overall quite good, especially the second half (which is probably why Netflix releases the entire season to critics).

It's almost hard to believe that Luke Cage Season 2 marks the ninth season of the Marvel and Netflix collaboration. Their trademark blend of superheroics and prestige TV has been around long enough that some noticeable tics and bad habits have formed, but when they hit the mark, they really hit it. And sweet Christmas, Luke Cage Season 2 is good.

Those decisions draw new lines in the sand, creating unexpected alliances and rivalries for a Season 3 that already has its work cut out for it if it's going to top this one.

The season itself is still too long by about two or three episodes, and some of the episodes could stand to lose 10 or 15 minutes, but overall the series' second outing turns a superhero show into a thrilling, well-paced crime drama that's one of the most fulfilling of Marvel's Netflix series.

I've still been trying to get through Punisher. Everyone says it's amazing, but it's just so slooooow at the start. Ep 1 was a good opener, but next few eps justmove at a slow pace.

It doesn't get any better
It's a magnificent show, the best Marvel TV has delivered. But if you feel like it's incredibly slow and you're not into it during the first or first few episodes, then it's probably not for you. And that's okay. :)

But for the fans and those who've been enjoying Netflix Marvel, The Punisher is hella fantastic.

Oprah strikes deal with Apple as new Hollywood content wars heat up
"Together, Winfrey and Apple will create original programs that embrace her incomparable ability to connect with audiences around the world," the company said in a statement Friday. "Winfrey's projects will be released as part of a lineup of original content from Apple."

Apple did not specify whether Winfrey would appear in any of the shows, but she is expected to have an on-screen role as a host and interviewer. The company also declined to discuss financial aspects of the deal.

Apple said the deal will not affect Winfrey's contract with OWN, the television network she launched in 2011. Winfrey recently extended her contract there through 2025.

Fast forward through everything with the FBI. That shit is awful.

Everything with Frank and Micro is excellent though, and there are some great brutal action scenes in the last few episodes to puts anything in the MCU to shame

I'd certainly put Punisher S1 up there with the best of MCU TV.

Agents of SHIELD S4 is the benchmark everyone should strive for though.
I feel like Agents of Shield S4, The Punisher S1, Daredevil S1 and probably/maybe Jessica Jones S2 is the absolute top tier at Marvel TV. We could be adding Cloak and Dagger if it keeps it up for the remainder of the season cause this stuff is very impressive.

awesome for Lucifer fans, maybe I'll go back and watch the last two seasons. I keep forgetting about it honestly. Now, I just need to hear about Timeless.
