So uh...has anyone ever been to a press conference before...? Because apparently the liaison I have invited us to the pre-game press conference... has anyone even heard of fans attending a press conference? This is all weird to me.

What a good trade John Jay is turning out to be. He is a hitting machine right now. Also, Daniel Descalso has to be one of the most clutch players in the game. He gets key hits in the biggest of situations. This DBacks team has really returned to form.

If the O's lose today, they will have 50 losses before they get their 20th win...

I think the Mets will catch them by season's end. Since their 11-1 start they have gone 17-37 and things are progressively getting worse all-around.

Callaway ranks right up there with the best of them in being in over his head as a manger in New York (especially a first year manager). It's not totally his fault as it never is in these situations as it's mostly the players but good riddance to him and upper-management as well. They're all failures.

Callaway may be over his head but the management deserves far more blame for this Mests. At the least, Sandy needs to be let go.

I wonder what their record would be if they didn't have a guy batting .308 with 18 home runs and 50rbi lol
Yeah, I think we might be bad enough once he gets traded to pass the 1962 Mets. They did bench Chris Davis indefinitely today, though. It will be tougher to get to that many losses without the Tank Commander in the lineup.

He's out of options and it's not like the Yankees have other lefty relievers down in the minors that can help.

Lefty batters have a .815 OPS against Shreve. He's not getting the job done period. We don't need a lefty specialist. Our right-handed relievers don't have problems with lefty batters.
