Had enough of Kingdom Hearts threads lately? With Kingdom Hearts 3 (maybe) just around the corner, I thought we should highlight some of the fan art from the Kingdom Hearts community, especially with the wave of new fan art coming out in anticipation of the new game.

Some really gorgeous stuff. Kingdom Hearts has such beautiful characters, so it's always great to see great fan art of them.

I'm not trying to be a shit, but I always get a kick out of the Riku-Sora vore fanart. I've noticed it's almost always Riku having eaten Sora, which is kinda weird. Even weirder, there seems to be an unnaturally large amount of mermaid-Riku in vore fan art.

Not fanart, but fanfiction.

I love KH and it's silly plot and non-Disney OC's and DAAAAAARKNESSSSS but sadly there really isn't much good when it comes to fanfiction unless you really think Roxas and Axel should be banging. This story however is amazing and hilarious https://www.fanfiction.net/s/7262795/1/Love-Sick . Basically your standard high school story, no Disney plot, only using the Final Fantasy and KH original characters. Crux of the story is that Sora is physically repulsed by women, and as a result spent much of his youth trying to figure out how to repel them. In doing so, he inadvertently ends up something of a playboy when he starts high school. Trust me, it's not some harem BS, it's top class comedy. Has a whole bunch of fantastic Final Fantasy in-jokes and fun interpretations of characters (such as Roxas as Sora's cousin), and even some decent world building.

If you read KH fanfiction but haven't read that, read it. Like I said, it's legitimately the only KH fanfic I've found that's quality AND complete.

Minus the vore, lotsa great fanart in this thread. Love these fanart threads regardless of their silly titles

I always wondered... Why does Kingdom Hearts always have low quality fan art when compared to games like Overwatch? Good KH fan art is so rare.

It's because Kingdom Hearts was the big thing back before sharing art online was really a thing. DeviantArt didn't become popular until KH1 and KH2 were a few years old. Now that KH3 is coming out, there's been a lot more high quality artwork, and imagine there will be a bunch more. Lots of the stuff I've posted was only made within the past few months.
