Liked the episode a whole lot, but I am tiring of villains getting taken out in 2 episodes or less.part of the reason Frieza is such an iconic villian, was the fact that he had long periods of time to kick ass.

On a completely, absolutely unrelated note, would you like a nice cup of tea?

No.

Yea, well, this is MHA, where it's super refreshing for arcs to finish quickly or whatever, something along those lines

Thats MHA's MO tho, like in the sports festival, people get built up for along time and then handled in about 10 minutes.

Sometimes offscreen. Its okay though, as long as we get some more meaningful villains it should be alright

Also, the villains "won" the training camp battle.

I'll just have to come to accept that my tastes differ from others'. I suppose I wanted more choreography out of this episode. They had an open battlefield. Lots of space to move around in. With a guy that destroys blocks of buildings from the wind pressure alone. I came into this episode with this expectation. Still, it was fine. Better than 99% of 'battle shounen'.

There are definitely better fights later on in the series as far as choreography is concerned. It just recently had probably the best one so far imo.

I just watched the last two episodes and fuuuuuuuuuuck me that was good.

The first one was especially good in how it conveyed the danger the kids were in, and overall was pretty great.
The second one kinda lost me when they started with the "everyone believes in you and that gives you power" and other nitpicks (like "OH NO, suddendly there's a civilian right behind All Might!") but daaaaamn that payout was absolutely worth it and super hype

Now I wish the movie was about All Might, Nana, and Gran Torino in the past instead of whatever its actually about.

Also, put Nana and Young Gran Torino into the game pls

Found a great English cover to keep my ideals

Thanks for this!

The Nomus attacked in season 1...season 2 and season three...

Season 2 and season 3 were both similar situations. They appeared from nowhere, did some damage but still got beat.

Yeah, Nomus serve a purpose but in a world like My Hero I would prefer to see them fight actual villains, even if they are weaker.

Great episode but also sad that from all accounts the series keeps going downhill from this point.

No one even hinted at that. It doesn't, btw

I honestly might not even watch the movie. It's just going to be one long filler episode, right?

I believe it'll be canon, Horikoshi is doing a manga special to go with the movie. Definitely worth a watch.

Just watched the episode. Thats the closest an anime has come to making me cry in a few years.

The music, the dialogue, the animation, and the reactions of the people. Just............god damn.

Watching it again dubbed and I think this episode is one of the few things where I can firmly say that the dub has so much more impact to it. Sabat nailed it.
