Got this on Friday on Steam since it's on sale (base game + Morrowind) and been enjoying it immensely. I have been playing EVE since 2003 and still do and it's my favourite MMORPG, but I stopped playing WoW with WotLK because of how boring it got, but I am loving ESO so much because its PvE content is so much more fun and rewarding, I just love how the quests are designed, voice acted, how open the world feels and I can essentially go and do what I want, and also the group PvE stuff I have done so far (not that much) has been fun. It's a much more relaxed feeling, I don't feel like I am on a treadmill of PvE/grind, the game for is like I am playing a singleplayer RPG with co-op, and I like that, I don't really have any interest in serious end-game PvE as EVE already takes time from how much time I spend playing MMOs vs. other games and other things, although things are quiet in EVE for me ATM as my alliance is not engaged in any war campaign (yet).
Since I pay for 3 EVE account subscriptions already (I actually have 6 accounts but 3 are inactive, it's sort of the meta of the game to have 2 though if you deeply serious but not necessary, it's just if you want to have a character that is only a capital pilot, a character that is only a market trader, etc), so I don't want to add an ESO subscription just yet. Haven't felt like I have needed to though, and I will buy Summerset chapter and the other DLCs when I feel like doing them before I probably get an ESO subscription, because really the only thing I find that's interesting to me is the crafting bag, but then again I don't like crafting in general it's also why I don't do industry in EVE (granted it's not really comparable). I'm just curious, how significant is crafting in ESO? Is it necessary to do? If I just focus on one (or maybe two) trade skills would the ESO subscription be necessary for the crafting bag?
