And unfortunately none of them really needed to be saved.

Where were Amazon and Netflix when Constantine got cancelled? A MA rated 10-episode season Constantine would have been amazing.

Netflix made a deal with the Devil, literally.

This.

Also I am not much of a fan of this Lucifer rendition. Looks like a mockery shadow of the comics version. He is the emo devil...

So excited about the Lucifer save. Super inventive show that was a lot better than I ever thought it would be.

I'm happy for Lucifer even though I stopped watching the show aftering losing interest. I hope Netflix knows what they're doing, they're going to be begged now after every single cancellation. ;)

Quantico makes me wish for more deaf characters in tv. Jocelyn is pretty amazing and changed things up in creative ways for something that was a typical money laundering plot.

AMC is pulling Talking with Chris Hardwick season 2 (which was scheduled for tomorrow) and are also getting new hosts for their Comic-Con panels.

I dont know it seems kind of strange to pull a show when he isnt in legal trouble. Did multiple people accuse him? Or is the blog post the only thing?

I guess it makes sense to pull the con apoearances as protesting could happen, the show i guess they could have seen if their viewership changed. Though we have seen people still actually vote for and listen/watch these type of people .

I just finished season 3 of Love on Netflix. I'm so upset, but on the other hand the ending was perfect. Still... it could have had at least one more season. One of the best shows I've seen in a long time.

In a recent interview, Sarah Treem confirmed that season 5 of The Affair (to air in 2019) will be the show's last.

I love the show, but five seasons sounds like the right amount.

It's pretty funny that Pacey and Dawson are both on Sunday night shows right now.

You think Hardwick gets a payout when these shows drop him? I'm sure there are clauses about behavior and the like, but he hasn't been charged with anything and doesn't have any judgments against him. I always wonder how contracts are settled in those cases.

I doubt it. He would already have been paid for Talking with Himself, it's finished filming I believe, and the after shows wouldn't have started production yet. Generally speaking the studio can easily cut your contract, but not the other way around.

The producer and created by credit is the trickier one, but I'm not sure it would apply to anything here. If it doesn't air, there's no residuals to give Hardwick.

Goliath s2 was a step down from s1 since it largely ditched the courtroom stuff for more witness/evidence gathering type antics, but it was still entertaining and something i binge watched all day.

I wish AMZN would do more than 8 episode seasons though, episodes last 45min to 1hr5mins, but all that seems used for in their shows is to make some scenes last several minutes too long or lots of random moments watching people drive from one place to the next or listen to them "shoot the breeze."

I forgot that Goliath season 1 was only 8 episodes. Hearing that season 2 is also only 8 episodes is probably what will push me to watching it sooner rather than later. I'm sick of streaming shows (and TV shows in general) being too long for their own good.

So AMC is currently showing an episode of Ride w/Norman Reedus. Next to their logo it says

"Talking With Chris Hardwick will not be seen tonight"

I really enjoyed last season, but I was kind of hoping the current one would be the last. There's only so much you can do with these characters now.

I seem to remember her saying sometime last year that season 4 was probably going to be the last one, but it looks like she changed her mind and wanted one more.
