LD looks like he is being held against his will. I feel like this was a "here take and selfie and send it to us and we will make it work" project, but the low angle and muted lighting looks like he is underground. The expression is forced. What the fuck is he wearing? Is that lederhosen? Weird sweatpants? Couldn't you get a little dressed up? Couldn't Splurge on a half USMNT/El Tri kit? Just a $5 Target t-shirt?
Boca is that dude that is "USMNT captain till I die" and part of me absolutely loves that. This picture of LD holding a scarf to 1) collect money and 2) attempt to show solidarity in his own LD way is benign at worst. There are more important things happening in the world than our petty rivalry, want we want, and how we want it.

Unfortunately, no good news on the Crew front. I'm kind of over the whole thing at this point and I'm not sure what to do now. I've lost hope for good news.
Only thing that brings me joy is seeing these Austin superfans prostrate themselves in front of "daddy" Precourt (You think I'm joking about that but they just wished him a Happy Father's Day. I'm not posting that shit because it's awkward) and yet over on Reddit, people from Austin who aren't as convinced yet are shitting on his current proposal while the superfans who show up are getting shouted down.

Also Zack Steffen got hurt today so that kind of puts a bit of a clamp on the happy feelings.

I really hope they force a sale to the buyer. There's been whispers about someone for a minute, but not a stadium plan. Fingers crossed.
