Feeling very lukewarm with this one. Beats just don't bang. Apeshit is pretty good, but besides that I struggle to find another song I'll listen to again. Doesn't help the tracks are all 4+ mins in length.

Have mercy, some joints on this are choice cuts of ribeye steak.

713 is elegant and beastly
Nice ain't bad
Boss is hot
Black Effect even goes swinging (when he mentions going through the alphabet FBI/CIA)

Only problem I have with this album is that I don't have a significant other and I'm broke, so I'm kinda meh to the theme... but my hip hop appitite is sated for now.

This was a misstep for both of them. The choruses are just not there, and the content is boring. A six-minute song on your friends? Like really lol? As a huge fan of Beyoncé and a minor fan of Jay-Z, this was just unexpectedly disappointing.

I give it a 3/5.

I did not like this album. I like Beyonce and Jay-Z separately as artist, but together they are far too much up their own asses. This really felt like an extension of the preachy and flossy vibes that Jay-Z presented on 4:44. I mean, it's really annoying to listen to song after song about them talking about their wealth while expecting the listener to buy into like there's some common mentality. Their lyrical PDA is also quite obnoxious and I wish they had more to offer artistically than their personal relationship.
