Does RE2 contain any of that supernatural horror stuff that's present in more recent RE titles? Or is it more of a classic zombie game? I hope for the later since I'm not really into crazy monsters/spirits/etc
No supernatural stuff but some of the more grotesque monsters in the series and they're gonna look amazing in this engine.

It really looks fantastic, good lord. No hud is dope too, I hope you can turn off the elements individually though rather than all or nothing, as a crosshair might be kinda necessary for this game.

I wonder if Crimson Heads will return. I forgot if there was a story reason why they existed in REmake. If so, then perhaps they won't return.

I just realised that this game had skinned zombies. Can't wait to see what they look like.

No, it's basically a cheesy zombie game. It should be up your alley.

It's also worth remembering that Zombies are slightly faster in the NTSC versions of the original games. I still need to play non-PAL versions of 1-3 to see how the timing compares.

Really? I never knew that. Interesting piece of information.

WTF is this? Dude's got half his head blown off with a gaddamn shotgun and he's still a threat? They better have a very easy mode where they stay down from one blast to the face with shotty.

Welcome to classic resident evil son. Zombies were durable as hell when this series started. A pack of 15 handgun bullets would seem like a huge relief only for you to realize that it takes that at least half of that is needed to kill one and there are three in this tightly packed hallway.

Lol my thoughts exactly. I think they're playing on a hard setting to show this game off.
Nope. >:D

Loving how it looks my only problem is the sound of the gun makes it seems he is shooting a pellet gun

Man, just watching those trailers over and over and over thinking about just how intense the encounters with just the human zombies look. And they're normally just the "easiest" enemies with the harder monsters later. Not even thought about the other monsters as well like the dogs and crows and put a twist on them and how they might overwhelm the player as well (since two human zombies attacking at once can topple the player to the ground) as well as the others like the plant monsters, giant spiders (ugh...UGH!), giant moth boss and the G virus monster bosses
(Birkin and the other one, makes me wonder who it will be that gets the G virus infection between Irons or Ben).

This game is going to be so intense!

Is it really supernatural or was it just Eveline messing with their heads?
She can make you see things if she wishes you to.

To answer your question no. It's all zombies, mutations and body horror.

Just imagine one of these durable ass zombies in the same room as a Licker jumping all over the place.

There's room for some really creative enemy encounters here.
